Tia Tian is an innovative and passionate architectural and interior designer who believes in, and pursues, multiple narratives in projects of very different scales, attributes, and contexts. Hardworking and with a deep understanding of humanity and the environment internationally and demonstrates the grasp of her exceptional palette of design techniques. In 2011, Tia graduated with an MA (with Distinction) from SSoA (Sheffield School of Architecture) since when, she has designed a wide range of projects, from a 3 market building design in Darwen to an ecologically sound up-market holiday resort in the North Yorkshire AONB. She has also been practicing as an Interior Designer, creating and crafting upmarket homes, stores and bars in Lancashire and Manchester. The Hybrid Mill / THM is co-founded with locals and is a research-based, multi-disciplinary studio. Driven by design excellence, we are dedicated to creating and designing inspirational spaces/objects for people to use and enjoy. “Art in the north” - THM's mission.
