I contacted Michael regarding my bathroom refit after a really bad experience with a local company. He responded quickly via email and came out to quote, His sympathy, ideas, and obvious attention to detail made us accept his quote without question. Sadly the journey would have made the 3 week project a very long and arduous one, so reluctantly we agreed that the travel time of 2 hours each way was just too much! He gave us invaluable ideas/information, as I said If only we lived nearer!

When looking for a decorator we chose Michael because of his 10/10 Checkatrade rating and we are so glad we did. Not only is the quality of his work a ‘perfect finish’ but also he gave us so much advice and is incredibly knowledgeable. His many skills - carpentry, plumbing, decorating etc - also meant he was the only person we needed for the whole job. He also faced a few unexpected challenges, which he dealt with no problem, with quality of work never compromised. Looking forward to the next project and Michael will be the first person we call!

Michael had previously done our bathroom, but we asked him to replace the flooring in the downstairs of our house as well afterwards. He advised us on underfloor insulation options for our older house, and then fitted the new wooden floors over the course of a week. The previous floor was laid terribly, but he did a phenomenal job - taking care over the precise placement of each board, particularly around the fireplaces, pipes etc. He also made good the redecorating of the skirting boards, walls and doors where necessary. A beautiful finish as ever!

600 characters isn’t enough to sing Michael’s praises… he visited us several times in the run up to having our bathroom done, giving a far better and more personalised design service than others we’d used, and advised us on what to buy, exact sizing requirements, and the in depth process. He encountered numerous unforeseen issues along the way (due to very dodgy DIY by a previous owner) and dealt with them all without issue. He created the bathroom of our dreams to an unbelievably high standard, and most of the things I love most were his suggestions! Couldn’t recommend the Perfect Finish more

We recently booked The Perfect Finish to help update our bathroom, which was looking quite tired. Michael took out the old pedestal sink and replaced it with a new vanity unit, sink and taps. He also changed the bath panel, shower screen and bath waste, as well as replacing 3 ceramic floor tiles for us and all the old silicone too. We found Michael really helpful and the quality of his work is excellent. He consulted us all the way through the job and offered smart solutions. Overall we are really pleased with the job and would definitely recommend Michael.

As a plumber and heating engineer, I have used Michael a few times to give the perfect finish.
