The team was very friendly, hard working and diligent throughout the project. The cost worked out a bit more than I was hoping but the finished garden is amazing and would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“Very easy to communicate with Thorburn over email (which is preferable for me) - was the first time we've used them, our front and back garden needed a thorough clean up. We were away on the day, but coming home to the work being done as agreed was great. Even though I gave a detailed description of what we required, they said they would also tidy up anything else they see that needs done on the day. This was done and within their estimate. We have already booked to use them again, purely because they are so easy to deal with - but book early, they're busy and I'm not surprised.”

Laying a new lawn
Thorburn Landscapes recently laid a new lawn for me in North Kingston. The work was carried out with great efficiency by Flavio and Rui who completed it in the quoted two days with exemplary commitment, courtesy and professionalism. We are delighted with the result and we consider that both they and the lawn itself are a credit to Thorburn Landscapes.

Transformation of end of garden
I cannot praise Stephen and his men highly enough. His suggestions for repurposing the end of my garden were perfect and I am delighted with the result. They completed the job well within time and within budget. They were very friendly, polite and considerate. They worked very hard, there was no radio and not a sign of a mobile phone! Everything left tidy at the end of the day. It was very easy to communicate with Stephen or his secretary. He was most persistent in following up missing piece on the summerhouse. I would strongly recommend his company.

An utterly transformed garden!
We are entirely happy with Thorburn Landscapes. From our first meeting, Stephen got what we wanted: a low maintenance garden which can be negotiated by wheelchair. The process of agreeing on design and selecting plants was very smooth and collaborative, with Stephen being responsive and imaginative. The work of transforming the garden, removing virtually all the shrubs and the lawn, and then bringing up the level of the whole garden, replacing fences, building benches and screens, and laying paths and terraces was done efficiently by Stephen’s friendly and helpful team. And then the planting began. We can see now a few weeks later that the selection and positioning of plants and trees has been very pleasing and we now have a beautiful garden.

Excellent job
Steve's team replaced our decking and repaired a fence. Very helpful advice up-front about fence post options and which bits of current decking were salvageable. Arrived on time, kept to schedule and budget, kept us informed. Came back for a quick replacement when one of the timbers was peeling up. Glad I chose Thorburn and would use them again for future work.
