Luke came to replace a bathroom radiator and also tidied up the pipe work. Historically, when our central heating system is shut down and drained, an air lock develops and it’s difficult to get the radiators back up to heat. Luke took all of this in his stride and was a pleasure to have in the house. Another good job done by Terry Hughes’ company. Highly recommended

I had two air conditioning units installed in my house (Samsung, 4 way mini ceiling cassettes). Terry was excellent, professional and attentive, mapping out potential options, pipe / cable runs, unit locations and electrical work. He kept me up to date on sourcing units and went the extra mile to find the units we were after. Mick, Jamie and Chris were brilliant when installing the units - very tidy, courteous and did a fantastic job. All in all, would def recommend for AC installation.

My boiler was due for annual check up and gas hob was also checked. The company was great, I was updated on the day about time of arrival. I asked lots of questions and got all answers. Great service and staff very polite. Highly recommend

We were replacing our old tank fed boiler for a combi boiler. We chose T.M. Hughes & Son as Terry was genuine, honest with timelines, what we needed and Worcester Bosch accredited. As we had no heating, Terry offered heaters if needed. Alex arrived on time and was one of the most professional, friendliest, organised, helpful and tidiest engineers I’ve come across. It was a 4 day job, removing the old system, a power flush and installing the new system with new pipe work. Not at any point was there any concerns. We are very satisfied and T.M.Hughes & Son deserve 5 stars for a 5 star service.

At around 6.30pm we realised that we had a leaking radiator in a bathroom and turning off the valves didn’t help. Rang Terry who was out for the evening, he gave some advice on what to do and said he would call his son to see if he was available. Son Kai was going to see his girlfriend but turned around and was with us within 30 mins. Our system is quite complicated and Kai had to drain most of it in order to stop the leak. He spent around 2 hours with us and was very professional and willing the whole time. Terry came in the evening to get air out of the system with need all his expertise

A puzzling leak, no evidence of water, anything timber touching concrete rotting, high damp readings. After much head scratching, and, investigation, problem traced, dealt with, minimal damage. Polite, cleaned up, reasonably priced.

Terry arrived as promised and sorted out our problem quickly. He was able to explain what was wrong and advised us on what to do if the problem happened again.
