Toms Decor

Tom and his team decorated our hall, stairs and landing. They were friendly, punctual, tidy and took the time needed to get things right. ( old house so could be time consuming) we are very pleased with the result. We are definitely having them again when other rooms need decorating. Tom also installed new light fittings (separate job) which completed the look.

We commissioned Tom to redecorate our lounge room, including stripping old wallpaper, removing carpet, skinning and filling the walls, and also fixing up old wooden doors, and moving light switch cables around, painting walls and wood work. Tom gave us a very good quote, was able to work around his schedule to fit us in as per our needs, and most importantly, the work was completed to the highest quality and we are super pleased with the final look. He also gave us great advice throughout the process, his knowledge and expertise was very helpful. His sub-contractor Sébastien, did an excellent job, and was a pleasure to have in the house. He worked very cleanly and left nothing behind. We had no issues leaving them alone in the house, Sébastien even made friends with our little dog. Tom decorated including wall papering and plastering the living room , hall and landing on two floors, painted utility room cupboards and other various jobs. Tom was exceptional from start to finish he was meticulous in his work and very professional. He tidied up every night and left the house clean and tidy . He was a pleasure to have in the property and nothing was too much for him. He turned up on time and finished the job ahead of schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend Tom and he will be returning for further work soon.

Internal and external decoration.

Tom has now done two jobs for me, the first was my hallway plus bathroom ceiling - the hallway was repainted and a large gouge in the wall where I'd previously had a light switch moved filled in, the bathroom ceiling had a square missing out of it and this was filled and painted - you can't tell there was ever a hole. I then asked him to return to decorate my kitchen, for which there was a lot of filling of the walls where I'd changed the tiles, and he repainted the kitchen cupboards. In both cases, I was so happy with the work and I won't hesitate to ask him back to do my next room. He is punctual, clean and tidy, patient, he explains what needs to be done to achieve the desired result clearly, and is really easy to get on with. Communication was clear, prices as quoted, and work excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing work done.
