T&R Builders Ltd

We recently moved house; the garden needed a huge amount of work, after years of neglect. We used T and R Builders for the project and the transformation is amazing! As a friend said “It looks like it’s out of a garden design magazine”. We had an idea of how we wanted it to look but we weren’t sure what was possible due to the quirkiness of the space and all at different levels. With their advice/expertise they transformed it into a wonderful space with a Mediterranean feel. This included levelling the garden, laying new slabs to the whole of the garden and side walkway and building bespoke ‘Venetian’ style perimeter fence to the house, including a new side gate and replacement drain covers to blend in with the new paving. Due to the initial state of the garden it was certainly a challenge for them but nothing they couldn’t overcome and all with a great attitude and professionalism. We would wholeheartedly recommend T&R Builders to anyone, whatever the size or type of project.

The whole team were great - everyone was so professional and their pride in their work second to none. They converted our downstairs kitchen, dining room and conservatory into an open plan space and exceeded our expectations. It was so reassuring to have builders who wanted to work with us to turn the space we had into something that not only worked better for us but was beautiful too!

Jim was recommended to us by 2 completely different people who had both had large renovations/extensions done previously with him, Jim supported our extension works for approx 6 months and took care of so many of the aspects for us. He turned up every day and we were happy to provide him with keys for times we were not around as he was very trust-worthy. He and his team often worked at weekends to get things finished if there was a deadline for another tradesperson to arrive or a supplier delivery. The people he had around him were all very friendly and talkative and all did a great job. I would whole-heartedly recommend T&R to anyone (and we already have recommended him to friends) and we will be calling him back for any new work we want done.

Tony, Jim, Scott and all there subcontractors have been brilliant. It has felt like they have really worked with us, imparting their ideas and recommendations for the benefit of the finished resukt, not just working for us. The work has been outstanding and where things have gone not to plan, as is unavoidable sometimes, they have always responded and dealt with things quickly. We had a leak start overnight and Jim was with us within 10 minutes of me calling him! Tony has worked through the finances with the me regularly, keeping the project on track and keeping me informed of escalating costs at all times. I really feel like we have been looked after, with a terrific end a result - a totally renovated home, costs kept within limits, and great, easy communication throughout. I thoroughly recommend T&R to look after your project.
