White Rock completed various building works for us over the autumn/winter 2021. We found them to be very professional doing everything asked for the quoted amount and causing the minimum amount of trouble and hassle whilst doing it. We were very pleased with the standard of work completed. Apart from their professionalism and high standard of work completed the company appears to be staffed by fantastic and lovely people. We would most certainly recommend White Rock. A great company!

I was left disappointed with the work that was carried out by White Rock and the initial work failed to meet the standards that I had expected from the company. After completing work to address damp in an upstairs bedroom, they missed damp around an electrical socket which was apparent both at the time of the original survey and at the time of initial work. I then contacted the company and a member of staff attended my home. He stated that I would have to pay more monies to put this right, plus for an additional area of damp was found in a cupboard in the same room. When I was able to produce photographs of the wall, I was told that I would still have to pay for the work in the cupboard. When I asked why that area of damp was not found in the survey, I was told they would only assess it if I had told them about. (even though I was not aware of this and trusted the surveyor to highlight any issues). I was given a date for the second stage of the work and then told I was mistaken about the date. I was given the impression that they were not keen to do the work. The costing for the additional work was sent at 08:00hrs on the day the work was to be carried out and I only agreed to it because I was so stressed at that stage, and just wanted the issue to be resolved. I also had to contact them to come back and put electric sockets back in place. The actual men that carried out the work were polite and cleaned up after them and I have no issue with that.

We found White Rock to be thoroughly professional. They identified exactly what needed doing but also advised us on what wasn't required! Having given them the go ahead the job was done exactly as they said and at the time agreed. All personnel who attended were really nice, polite and very pleasant. Everything was done with the minimum of disruption and fuss whilst any mess was also kept to a minimum whilst they cleared up after themselves both each night before leaving and at the end of the job. I would have no hesitation in using them next time or recommending them to others.
