Detailed reviews

Anonymous5.0 / 5 ·

We had a new kitchen fitted and Wiretec completed the electrical works on changing the gas oven to an electric hob, adding additional electrical appliances, lighting to the kitchen and fitting a new consumer unit and fuseboard. Dale and the team are very professional, considerate and explained everything very clearly to me. They kept me updated throughout the whole process and were a pleasure to deal with. Would use again and would have no hesitations in recommend to my friends and family.

The communication was brilliant all throughout. I’m all very new to owning, renovating and trade talk, but Dale did help massively with understanding my end goal. On the day of the planned work, everything went smoothly. Dale kept my flat clean, tidy and kept me in the loop with where they were at. Overall, I am very impressed and happy with the work they have carried out and will be 1000% recommending these to anyone I know who is looking. I am very looking forward to having more works done with Dale and the team within the next few years.

Electrical work in homes in England & Wales should be done by a registered competent person who can self-certify it meets the Part P safety rules. Check they're on the official register.

Check the electrical register
In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations. Confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done. It is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
