About
At 9yards we pride ourselves in fulfilling all of our Clients' specific design requirements. Our bespoke designs and specifications for domestic design, no matter how big or small, are frequently used to obtain firm quotations from builders, to secure Planning & Building Control approvals and to control project costs. Bedrooms, kitchens, sunrooms, conservatories, home offices, utilities, garages, lounges, games rooms, gyms, granny flats... the possibilities for extending your house are limited only by your imagination, available space and, of course, the Planners! Then when you consider the options of single-storey, 2+ storey, side, rear and front extensions, not to mention roofspace conversions you will soon realize you could be spoilt for choice! Sometimes nothing short of exceptional individuality will suffice - often this will involve sympathetic extension or renovation of a period property, the rejuvenating modernisation of a tired 1950's - '80's house style or the clever juxtaposition of modern design and living standards onto a traditional country cottage. In such cases these projects leave no room for compromise with bespoke joinery, sourcing of reclaimed materials and individual detailing being just some of the essential elements. If you’re looking to build a new house, whether you already have a site, are considering a replacement dwelling, are buying a site with outline or full Planning permission, have a large garden which you feel may be suitable, or have identified a valuable urban infill site, 9yards has the experience to guide you through the design and construction processes from start to finish. From an initial feasibility study, through Planning & Building Control approvals and liaison with you builder we can quote you for the complete service. We can even provide site inspection services with a view to issuing our insurance-backed Professional Consultant's Completion Certificate at prices much more competitive than the NHBC's equivalent. Your dream home designed to your exact specifications – why compromise? Whatever your design aspirations, why not let 9yards help in guiding you towards the most suitable and practical option by utilizing our vast experience in not only the planning and design arenas but also the practicalities of the building process. With our design qualifications and experience augmented by membership of the Chartered Institute of Building you can be sure of the 'buildability' of our designs.
