This was the first time we’ve used Absoloute Carpentry and they were amazing. We can’t recommend them too highly. They replied to our initial email very promptly and within a few days the work had been agreed and a date set. They turned up early and worked all the way through. Each item was checked with us before work started and then again afterwards. They were very tidy, clearing up as they went and taking all the waste away at the end. We now have doors that shut; a new under-stairs area with shelving, two compartments and lighting plus wooden panelling in the porch.
Darren is a craftsman
as with most good tradesman a bit of a lead-in time .. but work was top notch and I was very happy .. worth the wait .. cleaned up after all works were carried out and will be having Darren back for further work as and when I need it .
Darren and Andrew made us some amazing shelves and units for our alcoves. Everything was done so perfectly with a great finish. They have been professional though out, would highly recommend.

I recently changed my boiler and although boiler is fine the state of cuboards in my kitchen where the new boiler is wasn't. The boiler cuboard door wouldn't shut and the pelmet under the cuboard for the full length had dropped and had a new dent in it. Darren from Absolute Carpentry replaced the cuboard and pelmet and created boxing that hides all the plastic pipework. He also created an enclosure with an access hatch for the part that needs to be inspected during a service. My kitchen looks great again and he stuck to the original date and time. I would totally recommend him

Really impressed with how responsive and helpful Darren was prior to the work commencing. Very pleased with the work he has done replacing some rotting timber in an external door. Finish is excellent and was done very quickly.

This was our second time using Darren. This time he installed an under the stairs cupboard/door. The quality of work is amazing. It is not only practical but matches the hall and is ready for painting when we decorate the hall. He also built a dog gate, I only said what I wanted it to be like and he built it perfectly: it looks like it was always there.
