Sam quoted for the job and received a deposit. I was clear that the work had to be finished by the Friday. Sam agreed. No show on the first day claiming that his job had overrun. No show on the second day (Weds) and no show on the Thursday as his van was in for repairs but he would turn up on the Friday. No show. We reduced the job and tried to contact Sam (email,text,voicemail) to confirm and that he would be starting on the Monday. We set a deadline for confirmation of receipt of the messages. Deadline missed, job cancelled, request for return of deposit which was agreed, zilch contact or £
