“We undertook a major revamp of our 100-year-old house, including an 8m extension built with reclaimed stone, full plumbing, heating, wiring, stone cleaning, flooring, three bathrooms, fencing, and paving—all while preserving and restoring as much of the original character as possible. Alder was flexible and accommodating to every change we requested during the build, and always gave excellent advice when it came to balancing our budget with our requirements. Our project was challenging on many levels, from difficult site access to limitations on equipment and complex delivery logistics, but everything was managed smoothly and completed on budget.”

Vitali and his team renovated my kitchen (now my new open plan kitchen/living room) in September this year. The work was done on time and to a very high standard. It wasn’t the cheapest option, but I don’t think that’s always the way forward if you want to get things done properly. Thanks Vitali & team!!

Guys did a very good job, on this s garage structure and roof. Very good finish. I would definitely recommend Alder contractors to everyone, who are looking for good and reliable builder. Very easy going, polite, and reasonable priced
Alder Contractors replaced a canopy over my driveway in September 2023. I paid the (amended) price quoted in full. A roofing contractor working at my house in March 2024 pointed out shortcomings with the canopy’s roof tiles. These include a lack of eave tiles/trays, inadequate overlap of tiles, too few courses, and gaps in the edge tiles, which are not sitting right. I contacted the trader, who said he would come and put things right if I paid for the extra tiles, which I agreed to do. He fixed a date in August 2024 to do the work but never showed up. I asked for an explanation; he replied saying he was on holiday but would get back to me, which he never did. 12 days later I texted again, saying I would take further action if he did not get in touch. He replied, saying I still owed him money (not the case) and he would not do the work until I paid him. Numerous attempts to ring him have gone unanswered. I am now faced with extra expense to get the roof tiling correctly installed.
Vitali has been a pleasure to deal with. Professional, knowledgable and timely. He was efficient in ensuring the work ran smoothly and although not actively on-site he project managed his team and checked in with me everyday. I was very impressed with how polite and hardworking he and his team are. They removed a full chimney stack, repaired the roof, removed 4 internal chimney breasts and installed a new soil pipe, finishing the jobs in a timely and clean manner. I will definitely be using him and his team again. The team were on time very day, worked hard throughout each day and nothing was too much trouble. I was worried and nervous about this project but so pleased we used RDA refurbishments.
Vitalijs and his team did a great job installing a kitchen and refurbishing all the dining room and sitting etc. Good value, very friendly would highly recommend!
