“Bill arrived when he said he would, explained the work clearly, carried it out efficiently, and his pricing seemed very fair. We had a smoke detector which was repeatedly going off and he kindly found time to come out the same day, which was much appreciated. He also fixed a number of other items and needed to come back the next day with some parts. On both visits he was punctual and helpful. Thank you Bill!”
“William Allfrey is the best electrician I have ever used. When I moved into my new house, he inspected all the wiring, explained what needed upgrading and advised on work to be done in preparation for the eventual kitchen refurbishment, which has now been carried out. He is always tidy, courteous and punctual. Over the last five years, I’ve used him for all my electrical needs, however large or small, and he has always delivered excellent service. I could not recommend him more highly.”

Bill came round to make sure that what we wanted was practical. He checked the installation, made helpful suggestions and gave a reasonable estimate. He phoned to confirm details and returned at the date and time agreed. The work, an upgrade to downlights in kitchen, hall and bathroom, was completed quickly, efficiently, within budget and old fittings and mess removed. Highly recommended.

Electrical Installation Condition Report

Various electrical issues fixed
Bill initially came to move a cooker isolation switch in my kitchen. He did a fantastic job, working non stop to get the work done. Whilst carrying out checks, he found a few other issues with some of the electrics in my flat, which he has now also fixed where necessary. He's very efficient, reliable and all work was reasonably priced. I will definitely use him again in the future and would highly recommend him.

Changes to light and smoke alarm
Bill did a great job. I found him through this website and all reviews were to the point. On time and working without break. He moved lights and smoke alarm which required removing floorboards in the attic lots of dust climbing high etc. You get straight answers to all your questions. He does not try to sell you something rather recommending to wait until better quality products are available. We will definitively use him again when necessary and can recommend him without reservation.
