“I got sent this company through my insurers, the issue I was having was my hot water pressure had gone in numerous places. When the company came out they kept telling me that "they don't have a magic wand" to do things and we're unhelpful. Humans have landed on the moon but a full time plumber tells me he needs a magic wand for water pressure. They even told the insurers that the issue was isolated to one tap when it was 3 taps so the insurers wriggled out of the claim. I have since got a private plumber (sole trader) to do the job and I was very impressed at how professional and thorough he was in comparison.”

Boiler annual service
I have been a customer of Avon Ruby for many many years, turning to them on a Christmas Eve years ago, when British Gas, whom I had a top star contract with let me down, I have never had cause to complain or be let down by Avon Ruby. The annual service was booked professionally, I had a text to say when engineer was due and he was professional, polite and efficient, as always. I have called on Avon Ruby often and recommend them to many. From initial call, admin team to job completion, staff have always been helpful and kind. In particular, Oliver and Maurice. It is a small company, I believe, but a professional team, hard working and lovely people.

Avon Ruby were fantastic, professional, reliable and very good value for money. The work included building, electrical, plumbing, flooring and decorating. Would use this company again, no hesitation.

Quote provided and work carried out very fast. Helpful friendly service completed on time and to budget.
Having fallen foul to a scam related to my roof it was great to find a firm who quoted for the work very quickly, started the work within 36 hours, did an excellent job. Work finished on schedule and to budget. Site left clean and tidy. Everyone was friendly, helpful and supportive. I know where to go next time I need some work done.
Thoroughly recommend Avon Ruby!
Great communication and co-ordination from Paula the project co-ordinator for Avon Ruby. Paula kept me constantly updated on timescales along with suggestions on materials and schedule of works. Everything we agreed from the outset was followed, no excuses, no faults, no issues; the team just got the job done. Andy the builder is thorough and a perfectionist, takes pride in his work and not looking to take short cuts like some of the trades I have had the displeasure of coming across in the past (That weren't from Avon Ruby by the way). At the beginning through to the end of the job their own surveyor checks on progress and workmanship as a matter of practice although as mentioned Andy knows exactly what he's doing. Andy's workmanship and Paula's management produced a very successful project outcome!

Repairs to damaged vinyl flooring. As on many occasions Avon Ruby responded promptly and executed the work skilfully.
Top class workmanship
I can highly recommend Avon Ruby, top class workmanship, nothing was too much trouble. My bathroom has been transformed into the shower room of my dreams with the expertise and helpful suggestions. This has all been achieved in 16 days, no delays, always on time, totally trustworthy - 10/10 and thankyou to all the team particularly Andrew.

Resulting from a fire in my kitchen my insurance company called in Avon Ruby to do the main work of clearing, building, fitting units and wiring. A first class team made a first class job including a good link-up with the office.

From day one of when our work started, things were covered over and taken care of as if it was the workman's own. Never seen such a tidy pile of rubbish - always kept informed of what's going on/or how things are progressing, could not fault this company at all. Will recommend.

Following an underfloor kitchen leak, we had several assessors and craftsmen visiting our property over a period of several weeks. We have been impressed with the quality of workmanship. Each one at pains to ensure that their work met with our requirements. High quality finish and all debris removed at end of each job. Fully satisfied. We were kept "in the loop" by a project manager at all times. Good communications.
