Very pleased with the whole process and the two worked extremely hard and professionally to complete the job on schedule despite poor weather. John was also very knowledgeable and helpful in planning the project and the final product is excellent, with the new blocks nicely blended in with the existing ones. Will be using them for a further project later this year.”

Really pleased with the end result. John and his team worked really hard and left a lovely job. All polite and courteous. Even made sure our neighbours were not blocked or prevented refuse being collected. Would highly recommend.

1st time I have left a review of work that has been completed for me as I was so impressed with Base Driveways. The quality of the finished project is to a very high standard - very pleased. I was also very impressed with Base as a company. Their work ethic, conduct and professionalism is a credit to them. Recommend without any hesitation.

John and his team could not be faulted, they removed the old drive quickly and cleanly leaving no trace of it at all. The ground was prepared well ready for blocks to be laid and despite uncertain weather the new drive was laid well. The new drive was sealed with sand on completion and a few days later John returned to resand and check all was well. We now have an attractive grey block drive which certainly improves kerb appeal. I do not think I can fault the work ethic of John and his team, I am very happy with the finished work.

Would 100% recommend! John and Andy were a pleasure to have doing the work. They listened to what we wanted, helped with suggestions and were flexible when needed, plus they were considerate and tidy. The drive is now huge and looks fantastic - our neighbours were impressed watching it go down, especially as they worked in the hottest week of the year! We are very satisfied customers!!

We had a new driveway and door step done, 3 years ago which comes with a 5 year guarantee and now I feel I need to write a review after problems! After 1 year the 2 slabs on the top step came apart, after a couple of phone calls, they did come out and fix them. Then another year on 4 out of the 6 slabs on the bottom step all came loose and broke up. After numerous texts and emails, surprise surprise, I cannot get hold of them! Have totally ignored all contact and I'm not impressed! Have now had to pay out again for someone else to to the repairs.
