We asked Bhakta to redo the kitchen, bathroom and flooring. Due to material related delays, the schedule was pushed out, but I was very impressed with the efficiency and quality of the work. They are an honest group of builders and put quality first. They gave their advice, what can and can’t be done in their experience and I appreciated this. Where there were some areas of the flat that could be improved like where the sink plug wasn’t working or silicon added to the edges of the worktop they came back to the site to fix this in a timely manner. I would recommend Bhakta for their emphasis on quality craftsmanship.

We had a list of remedial work from roof to basement and redecorating before putting our house on the market. All in all it took the best part of a year, with breaks in between. The quality of the work done was good and the crews who came in were pleasant to have in the house. I would recommend these builders, although they won’t be your cheapest quote.

George and his team work hard for you. He works hard for his people as well and it shows in the work that they do. The company cares about more than just getting the work done, but rather in how the work is done. Things did not always go according to plan but a quick, open, chat with George would resolve the matter quickly. They are not afraid to admit a mistake and to resolve it. More than that, they often go above and beyond what was asked. For example, they installed a bath under our shower free of charge as a present to our new baby. The only real negative was that the cost of the materials wasn't clear at the start and it was more than I had anticipated. If you can define this up front so you can have a full picture and you're happy with the price then you should definitely hire them. I have had a few builders on various houses over the years and George and his team have definitely been great builders. When people ask you "can you recommend a good builder?", I can confidently say "Yes, Bhakta Builders, talk to George."

Bhakta Builders managed and oversaw new double glazing for 2 non-standard fit wooden sash windows, decorating and painting as well as building new shelf unit. This is the 2nd project they have finished for me, and I can really recommend their worksmanship and professionalism. Work has been completed to a very high standard within budget, with George keeping me up to date on any issues and challenges on the way. I also really appreciated the honest review of the budget. I always knew where i was in terms of budget and timeline. I found Bhakta Builders offer polite and considerate service, and expert workmanship.

We fully renovated our flat in Kensington from October 21' to February 22'. Bhakta did an spectacular job, in an incredibly tight timeframe of only 5 months. Both Vlad and George were extremely dedicated, and we really weren't the easiest clients. Our flat is on the 3rd floor of the building, we were particularly picky about all finishes and we often changed our minds throughout the project about all sorts of elements (e.g. layout of the bathroom) - a nightmare for any project manager. The Bhakta team managed to not only accommodate it all, do an incredible job and finish it on time but they also gave us so many thoughtful inputs and helped us make all the right decisions when we were confronted with surprises (typical London Victorian building). Our family is so grateful for the dream home they helped us build and for all the hard work, attention to detail, and good vibes that they brought to the project. They are our forever go-to builders in London! --- The project included: full renovation of the kitchen (cupboards installation included) and bathroom, painting and decoration of the whole flat, removal + installation + levelling of the entire floor of the flat, wall tanking, removal of a wall, installation of wardrobes and storage, changing of all pipes, full rewiring of the flat, full lighting project, changing of all doors and doorframes, relocation of doors, and more.

Had George and his team fully refurbish my elderly parent's main bathroom in their old victorian house back in April. Excellent service and perfect communication from start to finish. Being an old house the project threw up many changes and extra work which George and his team handled effectively and efficiently no matter how big or small, no problem! someone was on site every single day and worked according to my parents' requirements and needs. Everything was completed in good time and to a very high standard. Quality finish. Cannot recommend them enough. Would not hesitate to use them again! George, Vlad and the team from Bhakta Builders were brilliant when we were renovating our Victorian London home. They always gave great advice, and the work they completed was to a high standard and to the agreed budget set at the beginning. There were ongoing communications with them throughout the works, always letting us know where they had got to that day, along with photos. You can tell they are genuinely proud of the work they do and I would use them again. On top of this, they were always willing to give experienced advice when we had any DIY questions - even a month after they had completed their work. Highly recommended.

I had worked with George and his team helping to manage a larger project and was impressed by the standard of their work in difficult circumstances, the company's attention to detail and George's willingness to communicate. When I had a smaller project of my own, I knew that I could trust that the work would be done properly and to my satisfaction and that any unexpected problems would be managed carefully. I am now considering further work and very much value George's opinion and input on what is needed.

We experienced a bad flood in the house whilst on holiday which turned into a major issue with mold. Once the house had been dried, these guys were so responsive, gave good realistic advice, had a great reliable team and fixed the blown bonding, ceilings, holes in walls, dug out the mold and fixed the carnage from the drying out team from the insurance company. They are so precise to ensure all the walls had a perfect finish and strove to find and make our unusual skirting boards. These builders are not the cheapest however you will struggle to find a more precise and reliable team. I cannot recommend them enough.

After renovating our 2 bathrooms a few years ago George and his team came back to renovate our kitchen and hallway. They have done an excellent job, especially with all the surprises that our old victorian house threw at us along the way. They were great at communicating and problem solving, talking us through different options available and carrying them out to a very high standard. They were hard-working and punctual and flexible when needed. The finished kitchen and hallway look great and I would not hesitate to recommend

Bhakta Builders were recommended to me by a relative who had his flat renovated by them. I hired them to renovate my bathroom and to replace/replumb my kitchen sink unit. The bathroom project was not a superficial makeover, but a ground-up rebuild with replacement walls, floorboards and replacement pipework. They installed a shower cubicle, a new pedestal hand basin and tiled the walls and floors. They also installed a larger hot water tank, towel radiator, pressure pump, extractor fan and mirrored wall cabinet. I was impressed with their attention to detail and their craftsmanship. They were friendly, respectful, receptive, helpful and punctual. I would recommend them without hesitation to friends and family.

George’s team did a deep renovation to the front of my house which is a period end of terrace, including repairing and painting the walls and window frames inside and out, painting the front porch, wood staining the front door, painting the doorstep and drainpipes. All was agreed beforehand and kept to the budget. The workmanship was outstanding. The guys were very punctual, friendly (and even showed me how to do things when I asked). They covered all the floors they were going to be walking on and covered furniture. They cleaned up very well after each day. The house looks transformed. Cracks and chips have been repaired. Communication was excellent throughout. I will definitely be using these guys again as they were perfectionists and obviously take great pride in their work.

During March & April 2021 George and his team carried out a significant renovation job on our London flat in a Georgian Mansion Block. The work included reconditioning and redecorating all walls and ceilings, new engineered wooden floors, and a number of other repair jobs including full gas and electrical safety certification. George and team were punctual, reliable and really focussed on doing an excellent job. I was very happy with the results, they exceeded my expectation in many areas and without doubt made the flat much more attractive for the subsequent sale. George is a very good communicator and kept me fully appraised of progress and any issues throughout via WhatsApp, video calls and direct interaction when I was in London. George was very good at explaining issues and additional scope items (inevitable during a large job) - it was easy to keep track and to resolve these issues. To round it all off George and his team are all really nice people, a pleasure to do business with. I would not hesitate to use Bhakta Builders again and can 100% recommend them.

Bhakta Builders saved our home, our kitchen renovations, and our sanity after a torturous experience with the original builder who was FMB registered. The previous builders did not complete the works they were contracted for and paid to do. As a result of their negligence (verified by independent, certified assessors), our home was left in an unsafe condition. Much of the work carried out by the rogue firm had to be redone. The first builder started work during the first and second wave of lockdown, during which we were lucky to get builders on-site on average for 3 days a week - we experienced botched work, haphazard attendance and no kitchen - but gained an immense amount of upheaval and stress. A great deal of research was undertaken to find a new building contractor. We were stressed -with very low morale, uncomfortable, unwell, anxious and wary. After a great deal of research - made more difficult as the 2nd lockdown was now in force, George and Team Bhakta took over. The work ethos was obvious from day one! Bhakta Builders were competent, diligent, honest, transparent and communicative, they worked 6 days a week on-site to ensure we had a weather-protected home and a completed kitchen for Christmas. They restored our home to a safe, comfortable living space and alleviated the stress which was greatly impacting on our wellbeing. A structural repair under difficult circumstances above a public road was undertaken with efficiency and the minimum of fuss. George Vanek (partner of Bhakti Builders) supervised and managed the project in a most professional manner.
