This is the second time Carl and his team have done work for us - this time plastering, new laminate floors downstairs and skirting boards, plus other bits and bobs. We would happily employ them again - they turned up when they said they would, were very pleasant to deal with and did us a great job.
I would 100percent recommend C L builders ltd of Bolton he did a fantastic job on my house from start to finish Carl explained.everything he was going to do it was carried out in a very professionally he was always on time all the rubbish removed and left near and clean
Helped us out of a hole. Went out of his way to make sure a leaky roof was fixed on one of the few dry days we have had. Top notch work.
Carl and the team started this back in November and Carl was really supportive and helpful. I think the project would have be easier if we had a plan made before hand for both sides, but Carl got stuck in and got on with the job. I think a good open daily check in kept the project on track. Carl was open and made the build easy with no hidden charges and completed it on time. We are really pleased with the extension. Thank you for the lovely home you have helped to build .
Carl, Jimmy and the tradesmen were amazing when we asked them to put in a downstairs toilet for me 86 year old father. They moved the front door, took down a wall and turned his porch area into a toilet. The work was carried out efficiently a d to a high standard and most of all they had a lot of respect and understanding when working with my father. I want to thank them all and we will be recommending and asking for more to be done in the future. Thank you, Carl

Carl has been nothing short of exceptional. After a deeply stressful experience with a previous contractor, I was genuinely wary of letting anyone else touch our home, but Carl has completely restored my faith in builders. From the very first visit, he was honest, reassuring, and incredibly professional. He turns up exactly when he says he will, keeps you fully informed at every stage, and takes real pride in doing things properly. The quality of his workmanship is outstanding; he doesn’t cut corners, he explains everything clearly, and he treats your home with real respect. The issues with our dormer were fixed meticulously, using the correct materials and methods that should have been done from the beginning. Carl is reliable, fair, polite, and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. After months of frustration, he has been a breath of fresh air. I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a builder they can trust.
Fixed my soil stack, did a good job, was very efficient, turned up on time, no messing around and explained the work to me.

Carl and his team were great. Called and he came around the same day with the work scheduled a week later. Fixed up some messy work from previous builders within hours and consulted me on every step and decision. Great team of guys who were super friendly and did everything quickly and cleanly.
Carl did a fantastic job with the Lintel. Efficient and very reliable. He booked us in only a few days after giving a quote. Brickwork looks spot on and he spent the time to find the best matching bricks. I would 100% recommend Carl to anybody! Tidy up was great after the job didn't leave a scrap of mess and took the old lintel.
Carl came over, gave me a quote, advised what needed doing and time frames. Everything was done to a high quality and done within the time advised. Costs provided up front with a breakdown of what each area would cost. Carl communicated with me throughout the job and the waste left by the end of the job was removed. Would highly recommend and will happily use their service again for any future need.
CL Builders have completed several repair jobs at my property. They are quick to respond to enquiries and are highly professional. On each occasion, Carl and his team kept me in the loop at each step of the way in the project and consistently provided updates to ensure I was happy with the progress and options available to me. Each job has been completed to a really good standard and they always ensure they fully tidy up afterwards. Great service and highly recommend them.
Carl was highly recommended to me by a friend and I can see why. Really nice honest man that takes pride in his work and knows his stuff. Well priced and transparent with what is required. He carried out an excellent repair on my roof and came back to do a couple of other jobs in the kitchen and bathroom for me (skirting / door trim / cladding trim etc) and I can’t fault him or his work. I would absolutely recommend and will be keeping his number for any future requirements. Thank you
