Damp Surveys Ltd were fantastic and professional. Simon and Jane were accommodating and managed to fit in a survey at short notice in amongst a very busy schedule. Simon's technical knowledge was invaluable to diagnosing the root cause of the damp. He took the time to explain the problem, respond to any follow up questions and included a breakdown of the remedial actions necessary to keep the property dry and mould free, including an estimated cost which was helpful during negotiations with the seller. I would 100% recommend for an impartial, informed and very professional survey and report.

Great value for money - Simon gave practical well-evidenced recommendations to help me improve the poor ventilation in my flat. This meant I saved money and avoided unnecessary damp treatments. Simon did a very thorough investigation of the affected area and the rest of house. We had a problem for many years but never really got to the bottom of the issue. Simon looked under floor boards, air bricks, ventilation in the house. Using humidity meters we were able to take regular readings and we have been able to understand the problem. Simon's report came through very quickly with recommendations of what action to take. He was with us for nearly 2 hours.

Simon was brilliant, very professional, really knowledgeable and massively helpful. In the process of the survey he was so incredibly thorough, for example taking apart and checking our extractor fans and their potential, and actually got one performing much better. He also lent us a humidity sensor, set it up for us and explained how to share the readings with him so he could have the most accurate data. Simon managed to get the final report to us quicker than expected as he knew we needed it done speedily. The report was very detailed, with great advice around how to improve our property.
