Contacted Dean to discuss my dream of having bespoke, built in bookcase. Dean was prompt at responding to my initial contact and was at my home within 2 days to give me a no obligation free quote. Based on retail prices for quality and scale of similar (but not made to measure) I was very happy with the quote obtained which was inclusive of all materials. I asked Dean to go ahead with the job. Dean started the job within a week. From the outset, I found Dean to be really easy to talk to, he understood my requirements and was happy to give his opinion on the best way to achieve the best outcome for me. Good points - Prompt, always on time Conscientious Clean Personable Good communication at all points of the work Bad points - Couldn' t keep up with my tea drinking skills (I think I drowned him) - He likes it strong white no sugar FYI....... I am really pleased with the work carried out by Dean, and would be happy to use his services again and refer him to friends with confidence.
Dean was excellent from first contact right through to completion. He promptly responded to my enquiry through TrustATrader for replacement doors in my house, and arranged a visit within a few days. I explained the issues that we have with out of level door frames, but Dean's confidence quickly allayed my concerns. He provided advice when sought, and we agreed a specification for him to price. Dean's estimate was received very quickly, and was competitive with another quote that I had received. I had no hesitation in selecting him when he could do the job in 2 weeks time. Dean arrived early on both days, working to late to ensure that he got the job done. The out of shape frames were challenging, but he remained positive throughout. His work is first class, and his cleaning up meticulous. Dean is very engaging character who was a pleasure to have working in our house. I thoroughly recommend him.
Dean built a new custom boiler cupboard in our bathroom refit, as well as the doing the skirting and door frame. He did a great job with a lovely finish. The cupboard opens perfectly in the gap behind the door and the shelves are the exact right size for the storage boxes we showed him we wanted to use The shelving is slatted to allow air circulation and he reboarded the back wall to give a cleaner finish. He left all the wood with a primer coat of paint and the room tidy Great work!

Dean is absolutely outstanding at his Carpentry Works. In all aspects of everything we required for the specific design we needed to convert our Garage into Two Bedrooms. Highly recommended.

Dean was extremely knowledgeable about his trade and associated products. His attention to detail was excellent and anyone using Dean's service should understand he prioritizes quality over speed. This certainly worked for us as we were extremely pleased with the finish on the Oak doors and skirting boards he fitted. He was a pleasure to have in our home and he will be our first choice for any future joinery/carpentry work.
Dean has been with us for four days and it has been a pleasure getting to know him and to experience his work ethic. Dean supplied and fitted 13 oak doors for us and assisted us when we were not sure of the style to improve the look of our house. Dean arrived every day on time. His attention to detail is second to none and anything he was not quite happy with he made right until he was satisfied himself that the job was complete and to an exact standard. At the end of each day his Henry hoover ensured the house was left clean and tidy. We would not hesitate to recommend Dean and the skills he possesses, and if you use him, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Dean for a great job. John and Gill K, Northampton

Dean was always polite and punctual. Hung 5 new doors on the first 3 days and on the second 3 days panelled and boxed an old fashioned stone fireplace. Always leaves the area clean and tidy and we would definitely recommend.
Dean was excellent. He did an amazing job hanging all 5 doors, cleaned up, personable and even fixed a skirting board of mine he noticed was not fixed correctly whilst doing the upstairs doors. Would highly recommend. Thank you Holly
Dean is a true professional. Built in wardrobes fitted-good job. He tells it how it is-he doesn’t promise to paint them as he’s not a painter but does a good carpenters job. Better being told upfront what to expect than finding out later and his carpenter's skills are recommended as is his professional approach
Dean replaced a door from the garage to the back garden, complete with a weatherboard (all stained ready for top coat(s) and fittings. He also brought an extra weatherboard which I asked for (and fitted it for us). He removed the old door for us as we have no car. Dean took a lot of care to 'get everything right' and was a very tidy worker. We would happily use him again !
