Excellent Job.

I couldn’t recommend Grosvenor Builders highly enough. My bathroom started as a total mess and was then made even worse by two lots of cowboy builders. Grosvenor did a fantastic job from start to finish. The lads were friendly and reliable. The attention to detail and quality of work is brilliant, everything looks perfect and works flawlessly. If you want tradespeople you can trust, these are the ones.

Kitchen renovation

Daniel and James have just completed our kitchen renovation, and we couldn't be happier. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship, solid day's work, and tidiness were impressive. Always happy to explain details or give advice, this made for a trusted and personal experience. The job was completed both on time and as estimated. We would have no hesitation in recommending Grosvenor Builders for any job, large or small.

Second bathroom renovation

Second bathroom refurb for us just completed by the team and another perfectly finished bathroom. The attention to detail and professionalism of the finish is really very impressive and why we're now repeat customers - the small details we wouldn't even think of are taken care of. Dan and James are great, very friendly and professional and couldn't be happier with our bathroom. Will only use these guys for our bathrooms and any major works

Grosvenor Builders did a great job on our extension within time and budget.

Grosvenor Builders carried out a single-storey extension to our property in 2024, together with a balcony and patio. They were a pleasure to deal with, and it really helped that they fully thought through the various stages required to carry out the extension. Fred and his team were able to dig the foundations, carry out the construction, install the windows, and deal with all the gas, electric and water/drainage requirements with minimal fuss. They completed the job by installing the kitchen and indoor and outdoor flooring and decoration. Dan and James were approachable, kind considerate and attentive to everything needed to complete the job. They were able to provide a temporary kitchen to minimise the inconvenience and this allowed us to live in the property while the work was being done. We would have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again.

Excellent bathroom full refit

We had work done by B&Q which turned out to be a living nightmare so needed to find someone to rectify their attempt at a bathroom installation. Fred and the team more than delivered on expectations, with a full bathroom re-fit, reusing as many of the fittings as were salvageable and ensuring the plumbing work was done properly before fitting everything back in. Team were knowledgeable and friendly, with the attention to detail you'd expect from professionals who know what they are doing. Won't hesitate to recommend and are going to be using again for another bathroom and other works

Cloakroom Refurbishment

We are really pleased with the cloakroom refurbishment carried out for us bt Grosvenor builders. Fred obviously had a vision of what could be achieved, and it was. James and Dan took care of it all: finding the hot and cold water for the basin, fitting toilet and basin, boxing in and tiling so there are no ugly pipes showing, decorating, lighting, extractor fan and flooring. All done to a very high standard of workmanship and to schedule. I would recommend them.

Very high standard of work

Grosvenor Builders carried out the work to a very high standard with good attention to detail. Communication was excellent throughout the project and everyone involved was helpful and pleasant to work with. We are very happy with our new utility/shower room and will definitely ask Grosvenor Builders to return for future projects.

Create downstairs cloakroom/shower and refurbishment upstairs bathroom into shower wet room

We had two quotes for this work from Which Trusted Traders. The quotes for labour costs were similar. We chose Grosvenor because the building and plumbing work would all be done by them (no separate builder involved), we liked Fred’s proposals for our difficult upstairs bathroom (narrow, sloping ceiling, cold and damp), and that he pointed out the need for Building Control for the downstairs cloakroom/shower. We are extremely impressed by the skills of Daniel and James who undertook the work. Plumbing, brick laying, plastering, tiling, flooring, carpentry, painting and electrical work were all perfect. They worked carefully ensuring that there was no mess to the rest of the house and always cleared up at the end of the day. They were punctual and reliable and so pleasant to deal with. They were interactive with new suggestions for design improvements and advice as the project progressed. We are delighted with the results. The upstairs bathroom is now a modern bathroom/wet room. The downstairs cloakroom/shower is like a Tardis – shower, toilet and washbasin fitted into an incredibly small space.

Great Professional Service and Quality of Works

Fred and the team at Grosvenor Builders have just completed a rear extension for us. We are so pleased with the quality of work and the job finished on time and in budget. Previously we have used Grosvenor Builders to complete our loft conversion; followed by a bathroom conversion. We have the utmost trust in Fred, Dan and Jamie. Their professionalism, quality of work and communication are outstanding. Their Communication is excellent both ahead of the works at pre-planning stage, during the work and at the snagging. This means that we have managed to make good time on our projects and everyone knew what was happening when. When we did our first project, the loft conversion, Fred had been recommended to us. They have now completed three projects in our house and their attention to detail, quality of work and professionalism has continued from the largest job of building the extension to the bathroom refit. Working with Fred, Dan and Jamie has always been a very positive experience for each of our jobs and we wouldn’t work with any other builder.

Kitchen refuebishment

Having used Grosvenor Builders a couple of years ago for our new bathroom we were happy to wait for a date when they could do our new kitchen and downstairs cloakroom. Again Fred, Dan and James were a pleasure to deal with and they were happy to change plans and make adjustments to give us the best possible result. All work was completed to their usual high standard. Highly recommended.

Refurbishment of Extension

We could not recommend Grosvenor Builders enough. From the first meeting with Fred the communication was spot on, the time estimate for the job was accurate as was the initial quote. Dan and James were punctual and very hard workers who were very approachable and had a keen eye for detail. They tidied up at the end of each day and kept the impact of the building work to a minimum. Couldn't be happier with finished refurbishment and we have no hesitation in recommending Fred and his team to family and friends and will definitely be using them in the future.

Excellent overall performance

Grosvenor Builders first contract with us (bathroom refurbishment) was c.12 years ago and they have since built our side extension, created a new kitchen diner here, refurbished relative's kitchens, bathrooms and garage conversions - all to the same very high standard. They have just successfully completed a whole apartment refurbishment ( inc kitchen and bathrooms) for our nephew. The work was carried out the great care and attention by Dan and his sidekick James -who seem to improve with age! We knew we had to wait nearly a year for a start date ( which speaks volumes for Grosvenors well deserved reputation) but as ever it was worth the wait. It is very comforting to have Fred Dan and James etc working for us and you will too .

Complete kitchen refurbishment

100% recommended. From the first meeting with Fred great, honest communication. Grosvenor dealt with Howdens and continually consulted with us during the project to ensure that we were getting what we wanted. The team were always punctual and respectful of us and our home. Thank you to Fred and his team. We’re delighted with our new kitchen.

Complete kitchen refit

Worked with Grosvenor Builders and Howdens to design the new kitchen. Once agreed Grosvenor undertook full liaison with Howdens. Grosvenor undertook the complete removal of the old kitchen, re plaster, new electrics and altered plumbing, decorating and fitting of new kitchen and all appliances. Old kitchen, appliances etc all removed and taken away. The team were efficient and professional. Tided up every night before leaving. Would highly recommend Grosvenor such works.
