My partner and I would highly recommend Steve and his team from House Proud Construction and Design for their fantastic work on our new property in Walthamstow. They recently completed a stunning family bathroom and an ensuite for our bedroom, along with various other jobs that were added as we went along. We are absolutely over the moon with their hard work, easy manner, and design ideas. We began our project in High Street, Hornchurch, at the start of September 2024 and completed it in December2024 before the finishing date, working with Steve from House Proud Construction and Design. Which we contacted through trust a trader. Steve is a highly skilled project manager and carpenter who worked on-site throughout the project, leading a friendly and professional team of tradespeople. From start to finish, Steve maintained excellent communication, ensuring the project ran smoothly. He played a key role in designing the layout and, together with his team, created a fantastic comfortable and welcoming environment for both our customers ourselves and our staff. Steve and his team were fantastic from start to finish. He helped us work out the best layout for our new bathroom and different price points for including and excluding features to ensure we found a bathroom that worked functionally and within our budget. House Proud got to work within 2 weeks from the first call, managing to tie this is with myself and my partner going away for a week. This allowed them the full run of the house and meant we had to negotiate not having a shower for as little time as possible! Steve sent us daily video updates to show us how work was progressing and was quick to respond to any questions. The team also went above and beyond to protect the flat from mess and marks with an impressive set up of covers, sheets and cardboard! Far more than other works we've had done and very much appreciated. The finished product is more than we could have hoped for, thanks to Steve, Barry and the rest of the crew for excellent building, tiling and plumbing works!

Steve did a fantastic job, giving my bathroom a complete makeover. He was lovely to work with from start to finish - spending lots of time with me in the planning process as I had never done a refit like this before. Communication was always good while still allowing space for me to choose the styles and designs I wanted. I was away whilst the work was happening but Steve kept me updated with regular videos and photos. And on my return I was delighted with the work he had done, high quality, well planned and left in a perfect clean state. All done on time and at a good price as well. Would certainly recommend to others.

Steve and his team were excellent. Very helpful in planning the project with us and helping us find the best fittings. Very punctual and always tidied up after each day’s work. Managed to finish a few days ahead of schedule. We are delighted with the new bathroom. Thanks!

Steve and his whole team were excellent. We had a complete bathroom refit and we are delighted with the finish. Steve was always on time, worked hard, and he finished the project early. We were abroad for part of the time and he sent videos to keep us in the loop. His communication throughout was excellent. Pricing was realistic and detailed. To be honest, it was a breeze from start to finish - not because of the simplicity of the job, but because Steve was friendly, calm, and dealt with anything that cropped up. We highly recommend, and are planning to use him again for some work in the kitchen! I should add, Steve was also able to recommend suppliers who were equally excellent and helpful. And, when something was missed off an order, Steve simply picked up the phone and had it all resolved!

Steve and his team were always punctual. Great care was taken with measurements and preparation. They were flexible and open to changes and any problems that arose were efficiently dealt with. It was a full bathroom renovation in an old terraced house. I am extremely pleased with the finished project. I would say that a fair amount of space is need for tools and equipment whilst work is ongoing.

This trader has been my go to person anytime we had to do some work at the house. We had him in several occasions and every time the work was great, at high standards and good price. I would highly recommend to anyone.
