What a lovely guy. Really happy with his help. Advised us of problem and came back a few days later to fix. Very reasonable priced, got the jobs done and left no mess. Highly recommend.

This job (leaking roof around a soil pipe) was between Christmas and the new year, so a tricky time to find a roofer. I phoned one day and Mr Taylor arrived, on time, the following day (new years eve). He inspected the job, took a photo to show me the problem (as the area of roof was not visible from the ground), we agreed a price and he completed the job and took a photo to show me the finished job. Very impressed - quick response - reliable and good value. Thank you very much - I would not hesitate to recomend you.
Could not be happier with the ridge tile job John did, and a nice bloke too!
I contacted John to repair my garage roof, he explained what was the best way to do the job and he started soon afterwards. He completed the repairs within two days, was very clean and tidy and I am very pleased with the final result. I would certainly recommend him to anyone else. Very good.

Had a leak in my extension roof. John came the day after my call and could not find a reason for the leak. He cleaned all the moss off the roof as this may have caused the build up leading to the leak and did not charge for his time. Great, honest service. Number saved in my phone for any future works.
I suspected I had a leak under my roof tiles and remembered using a roofer from T.A.T before for something similar ,so looked back through my reviews and found him. I could not believe the date of that work 2012! Rang Mr Taylor who came along confirmed there was a leak and did the work there and then. More than pleased with the price he quoted , no quibble from me and again he made a fuss of my cats and actually helped me give Daisy ( the youngest of my 3 cats ) her ear drops even my son won't do that ! What a star thank you .
I can't rate J Taylor Roofing highly enough. I requested a Call-back - and he called me back I requested a site visit - and he turned up I requested a quote - and he quoted me I gave him the work - and he turned up on the agreed date. The work was completed to my complete satisfaction and John left the site clean and tidy. It is refreshing to know that there are still tradesmen out there who turn up and quote instead of making promises and then you never hear from them again. I will certainly be using J Taylor Roofing again.
This is the 2nd time I have used this company and I would recommend to everyone. A great service.
Did pointing on the chimney. Only half of it needed doing when he arrived. so corrected the required half and charged only half of the original quotation

It is refreshing to find a trader who is more committed to providing a service than making a significant amount of money. I contacted J Taylor Roofing to investigate a slipped roof tile (just 1). I requested a call back from the tradesman after explaining the requirement, fully expecting to not receive the call back because the time involved would not justify the visit. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the call back and the visit. They carried out the work required in a professional and courteous manner. They will certainly be getting my business for any future roofing work required.
John was highly recommended and I found him to be a friendly, responsive and highly efficient worker who helped me out of a jam in a short space of time.
