The work LWS did for us was to waterproof a cellar by providing specialist membranes, drainage channels, sump and pumps and floor coating. Peter Barber was highly professional and helpful from the time he came to look at the cellar,, through to providing his estimate and checking the work. All of the work was done as he said it would be by his very efficient and hard working workmen, foreman and project manager. At the end of each day, they left the property clean and secure and they cleaned up thoroughly at the end. The office staff were also very professional. We also asked for some extra work to be done as an additional job ,and he sent a team to do this. Given all the people involved, and time involved the costs seemed appropriate.

They have been fast to arrange the survey and coming onsite. Unofortunately the job is much bigger and expensive that what thought at the beginning so we are not ready yet to start with it. But the report and the quotation done has been amazing: complete, detailed clear in all points and price reasonable.

This is the second time London Waterproofing have come out to look at a damp issue we have and both times they have been extremely helpful and knowledgable. The issues we have had actually haven't led them to doing work (they were drainage issues rather than damp issues), but it is nice to know they are honest and not just trying to sel you something!

We had our coal cupboard waterproofed by LWS. Thoroughly impressed by the service. Peter responded to my initial inquiry within a few hours and came over the next day to carry out a site survey. Quote for the work arrived before 9am the following morning. Peter then made time to answer all of my further questions. The team arrived on time every day to do the job. Really good guys and any issues were reported and communicated to me via LWS main office -giving absolute transparency. The site was left clean and tidy and we now have a great new space sealed against the elements. Would definitely use again.

Peter Barber visited our property recently as we had an issue with dampness on the floor of our front cellar room. He spent some time looking at the cellar and discussing it with us and subsequently wrote us a report stating how the company would solve the problem of water ingress, using an appropriate waterproofing and drainage system. This was full, reasonably costed, and seemed like a sound approach and solution. However, Peter also noted that as at this time the cellar is little used except for sealed storage, for this reason it might not be necessary to carry out the works at the moment. Nevertheless , his report gives us the option if required in the future if we change the use of the cellar. We were impressed by Peter's knowledge, expertise, clear explanation, and the time he gave us - both through visiting and writing a detailed (free) report.

Peter came to look at the damp in my basement. He identified the source within minutes, advised me how to fix it which didn't involve works by his company and left without charging a call out fee.
