Martin and his team supplied and fitted heaters for our flats. Martin has provided excellent advice on type of heaters which would be best solution for us. His team fitted them with great care and promptly resolved a problem after installation . We would recommend Martin and his team to anyone planning to upgrade their storage heaters.
Squirrels in loft chewed through bedroom light cable and blowing fuses. Called Martin, guys out the following morning, found the problem and fixed it. Very nice efficient guys and clean workmanship. Nothing but praise for them and strongly recommend this company to anyone with electrical problems. Mike
Had old storage heaters replaced. Fast and efficient service and all the electricians were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Really happy with this company and would definitely use them again. We now have a lovely warm house for the winter!
I had difficulty trying to find a company to replace my mothers 40 year old electric storeage heaters and fuse box until I found MB Electrics. From the very 1st call, I was impressed and felt as if Martin actually cared about his company and his customers. He arrived on time for the quotation, explained everything in detail to me and my mother and left us to decide without any sales push/pressure. So much so, we didn’t even bother trying anyone else. They brought heaters prior to installation, arrived on time, covered all the floors and just got on with the job which was completed extemely quickly. On our return, everthing was complete, cleared up and hoovered. All heaters were set to our preferences and the fuctionality clearly explained. Communication before, during and after installation was excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending Martin and his staff. Professional, courteous, clean and quick.
I had requested EICR on 2 properties. Martin responded promptly and the quotes were reasonable. The work was completed to time and budget and the certificates were sent promptly after payment. The 2 reports were rated in Good condition. There were no observations on the first property ‘A’, but 3 non urgent improvements were noted on the second, property ‘B’. I was sent a quote for the works which I considered excessive and said to Martin that I would get other quotes. To my surprise, Martin noted he would have to downgrade the previous report, (which was all signed off) and call out that urgent repairs were now required! This, he said was because I wasn’t using his company for the remedial works and he wasn’t sure if the works would be carried out. In addition, he sent a revised report to my letting agent indicating the property was dangerous and urgent repairs were required. The agent consequently informed me they couldn’t let the property until the repairs. I was not even sent a copy of the revised report even though I ordered and paid for the the tests. I challenged this and queried if this was the industry norm: to issue a report in the expectations for additional works and then downgrade it if the customer chooses a diff contractor. Martin insisted this was not the case that they choose not to put in the full details in the first report so the customer wouldn’t have to pay for a new EICR. Found the whole thing very strange and unprofessional.
