Mossend Roofing

Huge recommendation for Mossend Roofing after they came out to fix a problem on our roof earlier this week. Very friendly, clearly knowledgeable and the job was carried out when promised at the price we had agreed.Customer service his top priority - we are extremely impressed.

Henry promised to start work on 7th he called to say they had not finished work elsewhere and would be round later in the day. This did not happen. After that Henry arranged to get the repairs done as requested and with no further problem. The repair was in my opinion on the expensive side but from what I have seen it looks like a good job. My only reservation is that Henry quoted a 10 year guarantee on the invoice but said that this was not backed up by any insurance. So if Henry retires or just goes out of business I have no guarantee. Perhaps Checkatrade could ask for this from their trade

Quote was reasonable so we went with them. I think they can quote low as they use a cheap team of labourers to do the work. Job was done quickly but the standard of the job was a long way short of what we would expect, and their team took little to no care of our property. We had a lot of damage both internally (rooms flooding due to inadequate coverings after they had left and it rained) and externally (tiles just being thrown off the roof an on to our paving!) They agreed to pay for the damage by knocking several thousands off our guttering job, but once paid they left and haven't returned!
