I cannot recommend this company highly enough. From first contact with the office to a prompt callback from James, and then a quick turnaround of the job, the customer experience is superb. James and the team got on with the job immediately when they arrived, and the front garden was left clean and tidy on completion. The job itself is fantastic. I am 100% happy to leave 5 stars for Moston Roofing.

We reached out to James at Moston Roofing following some leaks on our valleys due to a poor quality new roof by the previous owners. From previous experience with roofing work, I wanted a proper job, so looked for companies registered with the Confederation of Roofing Contractors, and came across Moston Roofing. James popped around and explained a few approaches, trying to minimise costs for us while doing a proper job in unpredictable autumn weather. We had a couple of other quotes and Moston came out competitively priced, and James clearly knew his stuff. I read the reviews on Which, Checkatrade etc and my only concern was that all the 5* ratings seemed too good to be true! However... Moston absolutely delivered on the job, managing to fit us in 2 weeks earlier due to a cancellation and our pressing need to fix the leaks. They worked in a tidy manner and replaced the lead work promptly, and gave us a few options along the way. They also replaced our front guttering and downpipes, which was a bit complex due to the shape and roof height. James has popped back a couple of times to double-check the mortar had set and the gutters are draining, to ensure that they have done a job to last. He is a great communicator and very honest and easy to work with. I would use again without question... but would rather not have a 3rd roof to fix!

James was informative and explained what was needed and how he would do it. After stripping the old felt from the flat roof he decided that a different solution was more appropriate with no change in cost (Materials and time would be the same.) All the other jobs were completed. He identified that the ridge tiles were all loose, which is not surprising given the age of the house. He made an additional quote and completed that at the same time as everything else. The team cleaned and tided each day. Whilst they were on the roof they replaced a few chipped tiles which was great of them.

James and his team produced a great result after putting in a lot of effort and work to get beyond problems encountered with the roof tiling that they discovered under the old ridges. The main aspects for me was the true desire to do the job right with attention to detail with clear and regular communication throughout. Reliability, honesty and integrity were at the forefront and time keeping was great. The agreed price remained the same irrespective of the difficulties experienced with the job. It’s great to find such professionals. Many thanks to James and his team who were also great guys.

James and the team undertook work on our roof, fascia’s and guttering. They were professional, diligent and James was first class at keeping us updated on progress on a daily basis. It was a big job, but the team were always cheerful and hard working, despite the vagaries of the weather at times! James was constantly checking on the quality of the work to ensure it met his high expectations. At the end of each day the area was cleaned and swept to an amazing standard! I cannot recommend this company high enough. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I came across James when I needed a report of what my gutter problem was, as I was getting conflicting reports from different roofers and a poor job from the last one who replaced my gutter. James wrote a comprehensive report with photos explaining the problem, and despite the neighbours lack of cooperation found a solution for my house gutter and replaced a few dislodged tiles in the process. I found James very friendly and helpful and ready to go the extra mile. I strongly recommend him without hesitation.

I want to say that I am extremely pleased with the work James and his team have done on my roof. From the first time I met James to request a quote, I have found him very helpful, answered all my questions and was always very approachable and friendly. His workmanship and that of his team was outstanding. They were always hardworking, polite, arrived early every morning to start work and always cleaned up before they went home at the end of the day. The job was done to the agreed schedule and for the price quoted. The roof looks fantastic and I highly recommend James, Albert, Lewis and Rick for roofing work. I contacted Moston Roofing Ltd by phone in February to get a quote for roofing work that was required at my property and was told that someone would get back to me to organise a site visit and a quote. Having heard nothing more than a week later I contacted them again and later that day I received a call to arrange a site visit which took place a few days later. A very pleasant chap called James came and we discussed the work required in addition to some optional maintenance work and he said he would let me have a quote in due course. The following day I received the quote, but it included a total for the work I had originally requested and the additional maintenance work. I contacted James by email to request a breakdown of the quote as I was not sure I wanted all the work done at the same time. A week or so later as I had not received a response I emailed again and sent text messages direct to James. It is now some 4 weeks later, and I still have not received a response. Not what I would call good customer service.

James and William did a terrific job on our house. Guttering replaced, new Tudor front board fitted, fascia on four gable ends. We were kept informed throughout the process and they completed the work within the agreed timeframe. Thoroughly recommend.

James was punctual (always a great thing to witness in a skilled tradesman), informative and provided a detailed quote that he delivered against. He gave us options to choose from; advising on the pros & cons of each option and was meticulous in carrying out the job. It was great to see someone taking pride in his work and we are really happy with the end result - money well spent. Highly recommended.

A leak in the dining room, in the middle of redecorating the room, required a quick and confident response from a roofer. After having contacted James by phone, he arrived the following day and spent quite some time with us to explain the problem in some detail and advised us on the work that was needed. Within a couple of days he sent us a detailed and fully itemized quote. As agreed the work commenced on 6th June. The entire team was most courteous, very hardworking, and professional. James kept us informed about how the work was progressing at every stage and fully took account of our requests. Minor additional work that was required was all incorporated into the job, which finished bang on time and on budget. The result was a splendid new roof, great-looking new cladding and guttering, all finished off with care and precision. Even the post-job cleanup was done really well. James has a real passion for his job and pride in what he does; that makes all the difference. We are delighted with the final result and would unreservedly highly recommend him and his team.

From start to finish the customer service has been excellent. James turned up at the agreed time to provide a quote and advising on options for flat roof replacement-quote provided and next steps agreed, great communication keeping us updated on start date. James and team turned up as agreed to complete a very professional job, the team were experienced and went the extra mile on a complex extension roof. Great service, no mess - professional and reliable with great communication throughout - would recommend.
