Highlights

The fitter was punctual, professional efficient and tidy. We are very pleased with the care and attention he gave to the job. Thank you

An excellent experience from start to finish. I urgently needed an EICR to let out a property and the company managed to slot me in for an early appointment. The engineer was very thorough, courteous and fixed a few minor issues all for the original price which was vey fair. The company then turned around the report very speedily. I'd happily recommend NE Electrical to anyone needing such a service.

Simon arrived on time as promised. He asked the appropriate questions relating to our intermittent problem. He then checked thoroughly the various electrical items in use in our house. His early suspicion was water leakage in the base of our electric kettle which seems to have been the culprit. We now have a new kettle and also the bonus of having had a good inspection of our electrics. It was only a small job but I would highly recommend Simon.

Electrical work in homes in England & Wales should be done by a registered competent person who can self-certify it meets the Part P safety rules. Check they're on the official register.

Check the electrical register
In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations. Confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done. It is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
