Family business well organised
Soffit boards, fascias and guttering replaced. The work was started and completed quickly, all in accordance with Simon’s original quotation. Each evening, the property was left clean and tidy. On completion, waste was removed and scaffolding dismantled promptly. Communication was excellent. Very impressed with Simon, John and the scaffold team.

Speedy followup!
Following some gutter replacement, Simon told us that some lead flashing over our conservatory needed attention. He returned to complete this work after Easter holidays. All sorted in less that two hours. Thorough professional!

Gutter replacement
The guttering over our conservatory was at the en dot its life. Simon gave us a good quote, arranged for the scaffolding to be erected and completed the work on the day he specified. He noted, and repaired a crack in the lead flashing on the roof, and sorted out some drainage problems. First class job.

Chimney removal and slate replacement
Simon was recommended to me by a friend. I called and left him a message to call me ASAP. He returned my call later that evening. I outlined the job which was to remove a chimney and make good the roof following its removal. He went to view the job the next day and sent me a quote a couple of days later. The price was very competitive and he got on to it quickly. During the work he also noticed some tiles were broken in other parts of the roof which he duly relaxed for a small extra cost. The work was done to a high standard, very neat and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Roofing Work at our House
In December, Simon fitted a new ridge tile system to our house roof. The job was done efficiently, without any problems, and at a reasonable price. He has previously worked for us on replacing a flat roof on a garage. We feel we have found a reliable, trustworthy roofing person who does a very good job.

Chimney repair
Simon has done various jobs on our old house. I had serious problems with water coming down the chimney during the recent storms, a combination of lots of water and wind direction. Simon was out on a new type of cowl and checked the external structure of the chimney in the heavy rain that swept the country last Friday. As usual, there was no mess after the job. I recommend him without hesitation.

Excellent response to an emergency situation.
I contacted Simon when I found a significant leak in our sitting room. He responded quickly by coming to assess the situation that afternoon. He returned the next day to replace the gutter, which was the cause of the problem. He is friendly and reliable, and the standard of his work is excellent. He had no problems identifying what was wrong and correcting it. He can be trusted to keep to arrangements he has made. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Can’t recommend to customers enough for the excellent work carried out
Friendly and approachable from the first time of asking for their advice for a small flat roof holding water and not draining away properly and beginning to impact on the indoor ceiling. Quote received within 2 days and which wasn’t altered when work was completed. Work carried out within a week of receiving the accepted quote and in just one day to an excellent standard. Everything was tidied up and left as it was before the work started and any rubbish was taken away. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Reliable and easy to deal with
We’re very pleased with the work Simon did to remove our chimney stack. He was easy to deal with both electronically and in person and delivered what had been agreed. He responded promptly and came round when he said he would. He gave us practical advice as to our options when quoting and didn’t recommend more complicated work than was necessary. He took the time to reassure our neighbours when they had concerns about the work leaving dust on their property and even helped them put dust sheets on their conservatory. The scaffolder, skip hire and aerial technician that he worked with/recommended were all good too.

Quality workmanship done on time and to estimated cost
Simon replaced the soffit boards, facias and guttering to our property. The quotation provided was clear and the costs very reasonable for the quality of workmanship and materials. The work started when agreed and was completed quickly without any issues. Scaffolding and skip delivery and pickup were very well arranged. Everything was cleared out of the way by Monday morning after the work completed on Friday. Finally, the invoice came quickly and matched the estimate. Simon is a friendly, and professional local craftsman who I’d be happy to recommend.

Very knowledgeable and efficient
I contacted Simon about a possible roof leak and he replied immediately and was round to have a look within an hour. He was very knowledgeable and reassuring - we didn't end up needing any work done, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Simon in future for future roof work.

Replace flat roof over garage
Simon promptly gave me a detailed quote in June 2024. He was not able to carry out the work immediately because of a build up of work and a knee injury. He was able to carry out the work by early November. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently in a morning. All the old roofing material was tidied up into a skip which was removed shortly afterwards. We are very happy with the new roof. The original quoted price, from June, was maintained.

Problem solved quickly and efficiently
I noticed water damage to wall in upstairs bedroom. I got Simon’s details from Which. Simon arrived as arranged, on time, and quickly diagnosed the problem as cracks in the lead box gutter. He carried out the repair there and then, and said he would post his invoice to me. His charges were very reasonable for the work carried out. I particularly liked the fact that Simon took photos of the roof to show me the problem.

Prompt and efficient
After slippage, I needed some ridge tiles re-positioning and re-pointed, a handful of roof tiles replacing and a new cowl fitting on the chimney. Simon was very prompt with the initial viewing, quotation and work undertaken. He arrived at the times stated and the work was done quickly and efficiently with no mess. I would definitely recommend Simon.
