Spoke with Steve on 6th November 2025 as wanted someone to come out and service my boiler, communication was very prompt and he managed to fit me in today (next day). He went through everything with me and explained all the bits he believed was important for me to be aware of and completed the service in a very clean and efficient manner. Very impressed and would highly recommend.

I was initially contacted promptly and soon after I had posted the job, I also answered few clarification questions and was given a price for the job. I have agreed to the price and requested a written quote to make sure it states the exact work and the exact agreed price. Following this, the time to response was not timely at all and after few days when I asked whether still interested in the job I got the repones 'no, too busy' which is not what I expected after offering a price for the job. I wouldn't recommend based on my own experience.

I am very grateful for the work that Steve did at an empty home where the heating system wasn't working. I live far away, and was desperately concerned about burst pipes in that spell of freezing weather, and rang around to find a plumber who could come at short notice to check/fix the system. Steve made time to go that day. He quickly discovered the cause of the lack of heating: the gas pipe had been disconnected! He reconnected the pipe and waited to check that the boiler and thermostat were working safely before leaving, all the time keeping me informed with phone calls, texts and photos. Great job brilliantly done, and at a very reasonable rate. Thank you, Steve. You saved the day, and I would recommend you to everyone. B.S.

Steve called later the day I Phoned. He found where the problem was and could call the next day. He arrived on time and found a leak from the toilet soil pipe. The flex pipe had perished, which he replaced and he replaced a damaged seal on the tank feed. He was clean and tidy, showed me which parts needed replacing. The whole job was done with my full satisfaction at a very fair price.

It was the first time I had asked Steve for a heating job so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but his Trustatrader reviews were excellent so I called him about a boiler service. He was very polite and said he was available soon and quoted a good price for the job. He turned up exactly on time and was thorough, quick, clean and professional in his work - and friendly. He also showed me exactly what he had done and what he had found when doing the service. I really appreciated this and it was good to understand what he had done for the service. The price was very good and I will definitely call Steve when I need any heating related work in future. Very happy to recommend Steve.
