I called TVR Electrical when my solar PV system went down. They were quick to respond to my call and arranged a site visit soon after. They diagnosed the problem, ordered parts, and were back to fix it within days. I would certainly use them again.

Over the last couple of years we’ve been fortunate to have many of the TVR Team work on our domestic solar, batteries, and ancillaries installations. Each time they have been prompt, polite and professional. Every element of the installation has been thoughtfully and carefully implemented, with minimum disruption to our home from the initial contact, advice on and selection of products, through to actual fitting and final sweep up. When there was any, such as the lifting of several blocks in the driveway, all was restored to the original status as if nothing had happened. The post-installation support has been second to none with Trevor always willing to check in on the system and advise on performance queries to provide us with a deeper understanding. We now consider TVR our go-to electricians and we thoroughly recommend them.

Demounting and Remounting Solar Panels

TVR originally installed our solar pv panels and did a superb job. This time they demounted half of them to allow for building work and remounted them on completion. Efficient, professional and friendly job as usual.

Trevor was extremely helpful and discovered all kinds of unexpected things which we hope will resolve this frequent unfortunate issue with the battery that a previous company and tesla had not properly fixed or helped with which had caused a great deal of stress. I put my request in on Friday, an engineer carried out an inspection and diagnosis on Monday, organised the free replacement of the inverter with the manufacturer and fitted it on Thursday as well as making sure the system was working at its optimum. It doesn't really get better than that, does it?

TVR Solar and Battery Installation

I had tried quotes from some of the large electric companies for my solar and battery installation; however, I found that I was dealing with telephone sales reps who were really just shifting tin and glass with unconvincing knowledge of their products. I checked Which? Trusted Traders and MCS and found TVR who are local to me in Emsworth. From the outset, they were highly professional in both the approach to quoting and the final installation. The team who did the installation had the customer at the centre of all they did. Where decisions had to be made of placement of equipment etc. they came up with solid ideas to help with the decision process. They were also very focused on the quality of work they provided. They persevered and got the whole installation of 20 panels, an inverter and battery in place in just over a week. Dealing effectively with little problems with the install as they went along. This what at a time when the weather was truly dreadful. They are a well run company who are focused on renewable products, and their team seems happy to work for them. They are now there to support me with any questions after the install, with their own access to the system to enable easy decision making about how we use it. Thanks TVR and your team. Great job.

TVR Electrical were excerlent throughout my dealins with them. Trevor and Brad are very knowlagable about all aspects of Solar and help chose the right system for how I intended to use the energy I would generate. The work was completed on time and to a very high finish. I would recommend TVR to anyone within the West Sussex/Hampshire regon looking for a local installer.

My roof had to be replaced. I therefore needed an MCS registered installer to remove the PV panels prior to the work starting, and replace them when the work was finished. For the removal, TVR turned up when they said they would, and we stored the panels in the garage. Replacement was more trouble, since other factors meant that I had to keep postponing the appointment, this was handled with understanding and courtesy. When we finally got a re-fitting date, they again turned up on time to carry out the work, leaving me with a working system.

From quotation through to commissioning they did a first rate job. Delivering on time and explaining the process at each step.

WE had a Battery fitted to our solar panels. The work was carried out very efficiently . Very polite and clean tidy workers. Although there was a problem withe commissioning the battery, it was dealt with very quickly.

Very good experience going through the planning/estimating process and agreeing what was required. This included 15 panels and Tesla PowerWall. All delivered and installed very neatly as planned and to the agreed price. Very good experience overall.

I was having trouble finding a company that would come and repair a solar Power system that they did not supply. TVR Electrical Services were happy to come to the house identify the problem the call fee was reasonable. They give me a costing for the repair via email, which was acceptable, ordered the replacement part, fitted without fuss. Excellent Service.
