A lifesaver for our loft problems

Matthew from EnviroVent was a huge help with the issues we were facing in our loft space. He gave us clear, honest advice about the mould and ventilation problems (caused by poor installation from the developers) His knowledge and guidance made a real difference and saved us an incredible amount of stress and money.

Positive input ventilation and bathroom extractor fan

When renovating our 1930s semi we wanted to improve ventilation and were recommended to talk with Envirovent. Sam Hawkins came to do an inspection and I was impressed with his expertise. He recommended to install a Positive Input Ventilation system (Atmos) and a new bathroom extractor fan (Cyclone), and promptly followed up with detailed quotes after the visit. Sam was very thorough in answering all my follow up questions. The Envirovent systems needed access to outside air as well as sufficiently ventilated loft space, which we were able to ensure as part of roofing work taking place around the same time. Sam patiently worked with me and the roofer to ensure the right types of tile vents were placed in the right locations. Then the Envirovent engineer Adam Hornett was then able to complete the installations according to plan, with both the Atmos and Cyclone running well since then (one and a half month ago). We are hopeful that these systems will help to keep dampness at bay for many years to come, especially during the cooler months.

Matthew Mazzucchi was very helpful and demonstrated the system and answered all my questions concerning the installation. He organised additional workmen such as the roofer and electrician. Informed of installation date well in advance, and the installation man arrived early and on time. No mess was left behind. The system is quiet and seems to be working well. The air is fresher and the windows are dry. We had an extractor fan installed in the kitchen, and has made a huge difference when cooking vegetables. The walls are no longer soaking wet. I highly recommend Matthew and EnviroVent.

Perfect solution to condensation

We are a 2-bed ground floor flat and had the most horrendous condensation problem. We had water running down the bedroom walls at times, mold spores and ruined clothes, bedding and the flat smelt musty. EnviroVent came and did a survey and gave us the advice and demonstrated the ATMOS passive unit and A Cyclone7 extractor for the bathroom. We couldn't believe that this unit would actually work, but with the money back guarantee offered we went ahead. The results are fantastic we have no more condensation, the air is fresh, no more mold on the ceilings its brilliant. The installation was very efficient and the chaps were clean and tidy. Worth every penny. We would highly recommend.

Poor air quality

The man from Envirovent suggested we needed a new replacement fan in the bathroom as the existing one was not efficient enough. I also requested 2 non mechanical air vents to be placed in the property. Envirovent did exactly what I asked for which has improved the air quality and fixed the problem. This was all at a fair price and the workmanship was good and they hoovered up any dust from the work. I would use them again.

Problem solved

We had problems with dampness, condensation, mould for some time and tried a number of remedies. We were given Envirovent as a possible problem solver. Without any hard sell from our initial enquiry we were shown a number of solutions to our problem, all within a reasonable price range. The work carried out by the Envirovent team was professional, with no mess. Highly recommend them as we saw results in a few days. The house is once again dry with no recurrence of previous problems.

This system really does the job!

As we have an "L" shaped hall we had a "Dual" whole house ventilation system fitted. From the initial survey to installation, Envirovent did an excellent job. The installation was superb. Although ceiling holes had to be made the installer left our home spotless. You forget this system is actually there fairly quickly but make no mistake, the condensation problem has gone! Very pleased.

We had an extractor fan fitted in our kitchen due to condensation and mould and since fitted this problem has been cured. The workmen carried out the work to a very high standard and left the kitchen spotless. They arrived at stated arrival time and were polite and courteous while working in my property.

Ventilation System to help with damp issues. I had continued damp/black mould issues for years and everything I tried didn't help. I posted the job on My Builder website and Envirovent thankfully responded. The Agent - Julian, came to see me and explained fully what was happening in my home and suggested the Ventilation System. I had it installed on 12 January and bearing in mind the awful weather we've had already this year I have not had any sign of dampness/black mould showing through at all. The engineer was very professional and thorough and didn't leave a speck of dust behind him. I also suffer with Asthma and must admit to not using my inhaler anywhere near as much as I did before. I am so grateful to Envirovent.
