“I cannot recommend Jwoods Electrical Ltd highly enough. James came out on a Saturday & did a fantastic job fixing my daughter's boiler and underfloor heating. What really stood out was the communication - we were kept informed about what was happening every step of the way. James was patient, thorough and professional. We were also impressed by the aftercare. We received a follow up message just to check everything was working perfectly (which it was). This is something you rarely get these days. The level of service was outstanding, especially on a weekend. I wouldn't go anywhere else!”
“James carried out my EICR to a high standard and went above and beyond. He completed the inspection professionally and arranged for his team to fix ducting in the roof and repaint marks in the bathroom to a great finish. He also labelled key switches (like extractor fan isolators) to ensure everything runs correctly and reprogrammed a fan that hadn’t been set up properly. Thrilled with the service, efficient, thorough and genuinely professional.”

We used JWoods a while ago and both workers came out - they did a variety of work around our house and we were happy with it. We then requested they fit an outdoor socket. Only one socket with one wire running to it was fit. They tried to charge us for 4 hours of labour for a simple 1-2 hour job. The worker came out early and sat in his van a little while before knocking on our door - we had to dispute this to not pay it. Additionally, the worker took many coffee breaks, totalling over an hour & was just working very slow. We now know why. Owner didn’t seem to care or want to resolve.

Wood Electrical came out to do the initial quote promptly. We agreed a plan of action and accepted their quote. The work was carried out within a couple of weeks and a new board was installed. Very happy with their work and professionalism and would definitely use again and recommend.
Had a problem with the electrics. The electrician was polite, and clear in diagnosing the problem and finding the solution in a speedy manner. Would not hesitate to contact him again.

Outstanding Service from Wood Electrical & Sparky Macauley! I can’t recommend Wood Electrical and Sparky Macauley highly enough! From start to finish, the service was absolutely top-notch. Macauley is a true professional—knowledgeable, reliable, and incredibly skilled at what he does. He arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and carried out the work efficiently and to the highest standard. The attention to detail was impressive, and he made sure everything was safe and working perfectly before leaving. On top of that, he was friendly, polite, and left the work area spotless! If you’re looking for an electrician who takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond for their customers, look no further. I’ll definitely be using Wood Electrical again in the future! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had Macauley come round to do our 10 year electrical inspection. Macauley was friendly, welcoming and knew his stuff. We recently had a kitchen fitted and Macauley found faults that could have lead to a real fire hazard. I feel that I now have complete piece of mind after he showed me and explained to me exactly what he was doing. Macauley made it seem as if he really enjoyed what he did for a living and gave me a little insight into the work he was carrying out which was very interesting. I have now some other small jobs booked in with wood electrical and will be requesting Macauley. Thank you to the team for efficient, affordable and good quality work. Best wishes Harry

Wood Electrical are really good, the workman are friendly and helpful, three years ago they done my electrics in my new kitchen l had new lights in the ceiling, put some new sockets in as well done a great job, so l had them do my electrics in the shed as well, l definitely will be using them again.
