Matstone Projects Limited

Matstone Projects handled extensive renovations for us, but the experience was disappointing. Despite some decent plastering and decorating, the project was marred by poor communication (incl. language barriers), repeated errors, low standards, and misguided advice. Plumbing and electrical work were poorly executed, leaving visible pipes, crooked sockets, and unresolved issues. Promised snagging checks with Mohammed never happened, and responsiveness was slow in the latter stages. Overall, we would only recommend Matstone for small, short-term jobs and will not use them for future projects.

We engaged Mohammed for a rear extension after our previous builders goofed up, and ended up engaging them for the outbuilding renovation and driveway work too, convinced by their professionalism and attention to detail. The extension project was complicated due to a manhole so it required liaising with Thames Water and the architects regularly, but Matstone pulled the project successfully without us feeling the pain it could have been! Mohammed and his entire team are very patient, and provide personalised service and are at hand to re-do things in case something doesn't go as expected.

We recently had an extension completed including a wet room and pantry, along with a new fitted kitchen and bathroom. The quality of workmanship is excellent and the finish throughout is to a very high standard. The team was quick, efficient, and always responsive to any questions or requests. From the initial consultation through to completion, the entire process was well organised and relatively stress-free. Communication was clear at every stage and timelines were met.
