Peter was supposed to come on a Monday. I text on the Friday prior to confirm arrangements and heard nothing until the Monday morning saying he couldn’t attend. We rescheduled for the Saturday. No show. I called him and he said he “forgot” to come. Arranged again for another day. He turned up at lunch time, did 4hrs work to a very poor standard. He told me he’d be back the next day or day after and would let me know. I heard nothing that evening. The next day he phoned and said he couldn’t come that day but would come and finish the following day. The next day came, he didn’t appear and didn’t get in touch or respond to texts/ calls asking what was going on. We are now left with a patch of terrible tiling and a ripped up kitchen with no tiler!

Arrived to quote for a job on time and very professional. E mailed saying he would get a quote to me the next day. Quote never received. No response from follow up enquiry e mails from myself. If not interested would rather have been told that in a polite e mail. Wasted my time trying to get a job running to schedule.

Peter Wood agreed to come to my property on Sat August 3. He failed to turn up, failed to cancel and failed to reply to a phone message. I was given his card from Collinson Ceramics and I intend to inform them of this event. I have, as a result, lost several days when the timescale is already tight.

I would like to warn any potential user about Peter Wood Tiler. The service he provided me was really terrible. He left my kitchen floor tiles covered in dried grout and refused to take any responsibility for this. I eventually had to get a professional cleaner in to clean up the mess he left. Very disappointed indeed.

We had our wet room replaced by a bathroom with a proper bath. We received very good advice, the work was carried out as agreed, any problems were dealt with most efficiently, and the quality of the work is superb.

Peter Wood Tiling offered us invaluable advice before completing the redesign and finish to our wetroom. The company were reliable and turned up on time or called in advance if they were going to be delayed. They were extremely tidy workers too. I'd certainly recommend them to friends and family.

Peter has done tiling work for myself and my family for almost 20 years and I have always found him to be both reliable and professional in every aspect of our dealings. Peter is an exceptional tiler and I would never hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends or family. I have also asked for Peters advice on other aspects of the building trade. He has recommended tradesmen to me and I have always been satisfied with the works that have been carried out.

Founded in 1987, Peter Wood Tiling is based in Edinburgh and is fully insured to carry out all types of domestic tiling contracts, whatever the requirements. Peter Wood Tiling also specialise in all types of commercial tiling including hospitals, petrol stations and shopping malls. Peter Wood Tiling also specialise in the tiling of swimming pools, golf clubs, health clubs. As well as hotels, cafes, catering units, bars, car showrooms, supermarkets, shop fronts and restaurants. The company offers a tile repair service, carrying out repairs during the night in restaurants and bars when they are closed. Peter Wood Tiling has carried out numerous prestigious contracts over the years, offering a first class service at very reasonable rates. The company specialise in many aspects of the tiling trade including Victorian floors, natural stone, ceramic, porcelain and glass tiling and also steel tiles including the installation of stainless steel discs to the huge domed fountain at the front of The Sheraton Hotel in Lothian Road, Edinburgh. The company has also installed hundreds of electric under tile heating systems over the years. Peter Wood Tiling has carried out repairs to vachurch floors Peter Wood Tiling thrive on providing an impeccable quality of service where the customer is always put first and shall always aim to be punctual and carry out works with in the agreed timescale. Peter Wood Tiling has carried out contracts over the years for a wide range of clients including The Sheraton Hotel, The George Hotel, The Marriott Dalmahoy Country Club, The Marriott Edinburgh. 10 Hill Place Hotel, Channings Hotel, Marine Hotel in N'th Berwick. The John Lewis Partnership, St Andrews Old Course Hotel, Saltire Court and countless other developments. The company has also sub-contracted to a wide range of fitted kitchen and bathroom companies, including John Lewis, Victor Paris, Smallbone of Devizes, Craighead and Wolfe, Kitchens Plus.
