Launch summary

Project 1 Design & Build Ltd was started in 2006 by Damien Collins (Engineering Director) & Steve Ward (Project Director) who share a passion and enthusiasm for building high quality projects. The company is based in Ealing, West London. Starting with our own developments, with a great team with the same passion in their specialist areas of design, construction, carpentry, roofing, carpentry, electrical, heating & plumbing, tiling, decoration, joinery & finishing. Based in West London, Project 1 developed a growing reputation for building complex & interesting projects such as a contemporary new dental surgery in Chiswick and an exact replica Victorian house in Egerton Gardens, Ealing. Seeing the quality of our work, we were approached by a number of people who became our first clients, mainly for extensions, renovations, basements & alterations to tired Victorian houses in need of updating. We also started a small number of important relationships with architects, designers & structural engineers who have since recommended us to their clients. We have formed other important relationships with a wide variety of specialist suppliers to help our clients get better deals. Since then, we have become the builder of choice, for clients who are looking for a well designed, beautiful home. We have a "Fast Track" programme for clients who have just bought their home & need to extend & renovate it without wasting time. You can see the energy we put into our projects by watching us in action on the 100th episode of Grand Designs - this vast structure was completely extended & renovated in just 7 months.
