We found Prelude through this website when we were looking to refit our kitchen and bathroom. Daniel and his team delivered an excellent work on time and within the budget. They displayed a large range of skills (including tiling, kitchen fitting, plumbing, electrical and decorating) all executed to a high standard. They did a fine job all round and I would definitely recommend them.

Prelude Property Services provided many different services for us over a number of years looking after a 200 year old house that always seemed to need maintenance. Danny priced jobs carefully and contributed a breadth of knowledge and advice as projects were developed. Over the years the Prelude team have undertaken roofing, internal and external decorations, plumbing including responding to emergencies, electrical work and carpentry. It's always been high quality, and I trusted them in the house to get on with it. Now that I have downsized to a modern flat they are helping to get that straight too. This is a small, friendly company that demands commitment and high standards from their team, from office to site.

Prelude carry out all our maintained works over various sites in the London area. This includes emergency call outs where they are always fast to respond. No job is ever a problem.

I needed a complete bathroom refurbishment for a property I let for my Mum. The tenants were in the property at the time so I needed a company I could trust and who would be considerate of their needs. Luckily I found Prelude recommended by Which? They quoted for removal of all tiles, fittings and pipework, and a new suite with associated new electrics, plumbing, wall and floor tiles. The quote was the second highest out of the five I received, but worth every penny because of their superb workmanship and their excellent customer service. The work was carried out on schedule and they communicated really well with myself and the tenants. Jean in the office kept me updated on the progress and answered all of my questions. Prelude have restored my faith in the building industry and I recommend them whole heartedly. I will be using them for all future projects.

Following a leak I needed the redecoration of part of the kitchen walls and ceiling. I also asked Daniel to have a look at 2 doors for which I required replacement locks. He confirmed that he'll "Get back to me" concerning the cost of replacing the locks but he went ahead with replacing the locks without giving me a chance to agree the cost. When I queried him about this, he got rather argumentative, trying to infer that I was in the wrong here. When I could get a word in and reminded him that he'd made this commitment in writing, he then offered to come over to remove the locks. All I wanted was an explanation, a simple 'Sorry I forgot' maybe? He did return to clean paint splashes left on the worktops.

Prelude had the skills and flexibility to undertake a refurbishment and re-decoration of a central London flat whilst occupied by professional tenants. Workmen were both efficient and trustworthy, and Danny ensured good communication with both the tenants and the Client landlord throughout the project.

We used Prelude to fix some slipped roof tiles and maintenance work to the guttering. The work was carried out quickly and cleanly. The guys were very friendly and efficient. Very happy with the work.
