Anthony serviced my Weissman boiler. I find him reliable, courteous and able to communicate effectively about issues, solutions and pricing. He has done various plumbing and heating jobs for me over a long period. I highly recommend him.

Washing machine installation pipe adjustment
We initially had an appliance technician out to install our washing machine, but they were unable to complete it due to how the developers had left the plumbing. There was no space for the pipes and cables to route to the water supply, and the pipework needed adjusting because there was no drainage outlet for the machine. We hired this plumber to rectify the developer's mistakes, and he did an absolutely excellent job. From the very beginning, he was highly professional and punctual. He came out for an initial survey site visit to look at the washing machine installation and a few other jobs, provided clear quotes, and let us choose exactly what we wanted to proceed with. On the day of the job, he arrived perfectly on time. I wasn't at the property, but my wife, was there and said he was courteous, conscientious, or efficient. To top it all off, the final bill actually came in under budget—he reduced the initial quote of nearly £300, which is always fantastic to see as a customer. We are very happy with the standard of work and will definitely be calling him back to service our underfloor heating and tackle a few other developer snags in the future. Highly recommended!

New boiler and heating overhaul.
The work was completed to the agreed schedule and within budget. He was very thorough and talked us through every stage. Anthony specialises in Viessmann boilers , he is local and will be the first port of call if any problems. We have no need of a cover plan as an annual service is all we need to pay for as the boiler is covered by a 12-year guarantee. He is a very careful worker and used his own covers and cleaned up we’ll afterwards.

Anthony quoted and fitted a new Viessmann boiler at our address - replacing our "ancient" boiler. His work was first class. Highest quality with excellent communications from start to finish. First rate understanding and craftmanship in the fittings and pipe work to install into our period property.

Bourne Plumbing and Heating
Anthony came to our rescue when the radiator in our front room stopped working just before Christmas. It had never been a very warm room and Anthony advised a larger radiator and was able to adapt the pipework so that the carpet didn't need replacing. His advice was so helpful & informative and he did the work with the minimum of fuss and cleaned up beautifully afterwards. The front room is now super cosy. He also replaced 2 thermostats that had been broken by a ham fisted visitor. He has since been back to deal with a leak from my bathroom downstairs toilet which he diagnosed and dealt with very quickly. I'm so happy with Anthony's work I am planning to get him back to update my bathroom.

Extremely efficient, thorough and professional
Anthony Sawczuk installed two new shower units and a new Viessmann boiler at our property. The work was undertaken to the highest standard, and our property was left clean and tidy afterwards. Anthony is extremely professional and we would recommend him to anyone. His after-sales service is first rate as well; we had a slight issue with the boiler after it had been installed - a loss of pressure and no heating - and despite Anthony being abroad at the time he responded to our text message immediately and put us on to someone who straight away resolved what was actually a very minor issue.

The toilet was leaking due to a broken cistern. Anthony responded quickly to my call and a new toilet was installed a couple of days later. Anthony's work was thorough and completely satisfactory. He also cleaned up afterwards and left the bathroom in a neat and tidy condition. His work was of excellent quality in every sense and his attention to my needs was helpful, efficient and prompt.

I was very impressed with the efficient.and professional manner in which the boiler was installed. Minimum mess and disruption. I have had no problems with boiler and its faultless operation has given me confidence in the manufacturer’s ability to meet my requirements. I shall have no problem recommending this particular product to friends and colleagues.

Excellent service by very experienced team
Bourne recommended to us. We were pleased by the excellent service provided by Anthony and his colleague Colin (dealing with long term leak that had penetrated our kitchen ceiling, complete replacement of old, leaking shower on first floor, replacing tiles that had to be removed and associated joinery) - prompt, efficient, careful, polite and decently priced, leaving the site in good condition etc - meeting all Which standards. Would certainly use again.

Good service from Bourne Plumbing and Heating
I have used Anthony of Bourne Plumbing and heating for many years. He will handle anything from installing a full CH system to fixing a dripping tap! Most recently he carried out a routine annual service on the Viessmann boiler he installed a couple of years ago, and replaced a faulty pop-up waste in the bath. All done efficiently and quickly as I have come to expect from him.

Excellent work & value for all plumbing and heating needs
Anthony has been servicing my Mum’s boiler and heating for several years now. Recently we needed him to come and move a washing machine for us; while doing so he found some major issues with the boiler which was badly damaged due to a leak and it needed to be replaced! Anthony ordered the new Viessmann boiler there and then, collected and installed it a day later, having made the old boiler safe and he prioritised our job so that my elderly Mum got her heating back asap; all of which was done for a very reasonable price. Efficient, helpful, polite and clean, we cannot recommend Anthony enough for all heating and plumbing needs.

Temporary glitch?
Tony used to be my and my mother's go to plumber prior to this job. He had been polite, on time, efficient and got the job done at a reasonable price. However, on this job he did more work than was requested without prior consultation, although he did point it out on completion of the job. Clearly this had inflated the bill but I paid it promptly. Unfortunately, Tony incurred a parking fine on the job and tried to make me pay the fine. On my telling him he was liable (having done some research), he threw his toys out of the pram and refused to work for us again. No loss in the light of the inflated bill. I don't know whether or not this is a temporary glitch in his usually good service.

Unblocked drain
Anthony was able to come the morning after I called him with the issue of a slowly emptying drain. He quickly established that both parts of sewer channel on my property were on the verge of overflowing. He cleared the blockage with some energetic activity. He identified the need to do a photographic investigation and referred me to a colleague who could help. He left everything neat and tidy. He has done a number of jobs for me over the years such as boiler installation and replacement of taps. He gets the job done efficiently and is able to communicate effectively about any issues. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Great and efficient work
The work carried out by Anthony was outstanding and completed to the highest standard. Calling him for some urgent jobs which suddenly made life in the family home quite tricky (leaking loo, blocked shower draining pipe), I found him responsive, agreeing to come round on the same day, punctual, and super efficient in his dealing with the various tasks. He listens carefully and is utterly professional in his approach to work. Anthony was recommended to me by a neighbour, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him highly to my friends and acquaintances. Although he is used to carrying out big orders, it seems that no job is too small for him. I was delighted to have encountered such a reliable and helpful professional.

Tony Bourne is a first-rate plumber. He has installed a new boiler, two showers, a pump, and a kitchen waste disposal amongst other tasks for us over the years. He has also fixed bodged jobs left by others. He thinks very carefully about what the job entails and what fittings he will need, arrives with an impressive range of tools, and cleans up thoroughly before he leaves.

Immersion heater replacement
Anthony has replaced my immersion regularly over the last 12 years as we are in a very hard water area. His work is always good; this time, he replaced a valve to ease emptying the system at the same time because it was taking so long, as the old one had perished. He communicates well by text, which I always value, and turns up when he says he will. Cleans up after the job, too. I can highly recommend him. I've no idea how his costs work out in relation to others, as I now always go to him, so I will give four stars to show I'm not sure rather than five. Hope that's not unfair!

We needed to change our kitchen tap and Anthony could offer us a slot fairly quickly. His work was thorough, clean and efficient. Would definitely consider using him again. Anthony was also very responsive on email which was very much appreciated.
