“Some of my underfloor heating zones are not heating up, when I check the manifold the flow rate is at 0. But I cant adjust it at all, additionally the actuators on the return valve don't seem to be opening when I adjust the thermostat. They came out the next day and managed to diagnose the issue”

Bathroom renovation
I can't praise Platinum Plumbers highly enough. They ripped out the old bathroom, including the plaster down to the brickwork on the two outside walls, fitted insulated plasterboard, re-plastered and painted. They installed new tiles, radiator, heated towel rail, bath and shower unit, heat recovery ventilator, basin and WC unit, illuminated mirror and mirrored wall-hung cabinet. Rob is thoroughly professional, talked me through any changes (in one instance suggesting an equal but cheaper alternative), worked hard to solve the inevitable problems which always crop up in any building project in an older house and is just generally a professional, caring, honest human being. Sergio and Andy who did most of the job are incredibly hard-working and well-qualified. They turned up early, motored through the work faster than I thought possible, stopped and consulted when they spotted a problem or a better solution and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. I saw one review which knocked off a point for value for money, but in my view if you choose carefully, you get what you pay for. I'll be using my bathroom every day for a long time. Worth every penny.

Plumbing and Replacement of Pipes in Bathroom
Rob at Platinum Plumbers was very professional and hardworking. He explained everything clearly and we are very pleased with his work. We would recommend Rob and we would certainly use Platinum Plumbers again.

Power Flush
Rob and his Apprentice came to flush the pipes in my central heating system. They were polite and pleasant and came on the day and at the time arranged. They gave a quite accurate time when the job would be finished. Rob serviced the boiler a few weeks before and showed me the sludge that had built up in the pipes during the previous year in my Magnaclean system. I asked if he would flush them. At the end of the process the area was left clean and tidy. Rob also asked if I knew what to do if any of the radiators were not balanced. He made a little video on my phone so I would be sure! Platinum Plumbers have been looking after the plumbing in the house for some years and installed the new boiler in 2023.

Vaillant Boiler Service
Rob, the owner of Platinum Plumbers, and his Apprentice came to service my boiler on the date and time arranged. They were polite and friendly and busied on with the work. They checked radiators and cleaned the Magna clean and also the filter attached to the boiler. They replaced a component and put everything back together at the end of the work, finally checking the radiators again. I feel I can trust the company as they have been looking after my central heating system for some years. Rob pointed out the build up of gunk in the pipes and I asked if they would flush them - which they have now done to my satisfaction.

Boiler service
As usual excellent service from Rob and his team at Platinum Plumbers. We had this boiler fitted by Rob 7 years ago and it has not let us down. The service was professionally carried out and advice given regarding future work that would be needed next year. I would highly recommend Platinum Plumbers to anyone needing a service or a new boiler.

Courteous, friendly and honest
I had multiple minor plumbing repairs built up over time and they were able to provide reasonable advice for the ones that needed more extensive work and they repaired other minor issues but they also replaced a shower pump that was leaking. They provided product options and they called me to ensure I understood what was being done and what was needed. I was very happy with the service. All services were reasonably priced. These are the good guys.

Excellent service from Platinum
Our boiler broke so we called them. Rob came out quickly and gave us a fair estimate for the work. Sam did the boiler replacement and system flush. Water softener installation
Given one of the busiest periods of the year, platinum plumbers managed to get my water softener installed & commissioned within a few weeks - from first communication, planning to finished product. Sergio the plumber was exceptional, he was on time and showed very good craftsmanship in his work. He also went above and beyond, followed the regulations, and most importantly when he smiles you know it’s going well 🤣 thanks a bunch, Sergio! I must add that Rob will listen to your requirements carefully and advises accordingly. I’m glad they are based locally in south-east London as it’s not every day you’ll find a bunch of passionate plumbers with class. Thanks Alice for coordinating all of this, it definitely is not easy at this time of year and it definitely wouldn’t have happened with out you! The water softener I chose was the water2buy W2B200 model, perfect for 1-6 sized households.

5 year service
Fitted new boiler 5 years ago. Regular servicing annually and major service carried out this year along with minor repairs to damaged fittings. Always A1 Service, on time, on competitive price agreed in advance and even cope with a mad Bully in the home. Highly recommended.

An efficient and effective annual service was carried out on our Combi Boiler.
